General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) could have a new reason to be concerned soon. GH viewers know Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) has a strong bond with her ex, Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher). Nina knows that, too – and it could become a bigger fear for Nina in the coming episodes.
Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) pointed out that Carly would always come first for Jax, so Nina definitely has moments when that thought weighs on her. We’ve seen flashes of jealousy and worry in Nina’s eyes along the way. There’s just a certain ease to Carly and Jax’s interactions that’s troubling.
Of course, Jax and Carly are also keeping some huge secrets from Nina. For starters, there’s the cover-up involving Carly and Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier) at the cliff’s edge. Jax and Carly are also leaving Nina in the dark on the fact that Nelle is her biological daughter.
Keeping quiet about such massive shockers gives Carly a good reason to strengthen her bond with Jax. However, Carly’s about to get one more.
General Hospital spoilers hint that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will go MIA following that footbridge collapse and will face memory loss that makes it difficult to find his family. Carly will be stuck without answers, so she’ll need some comfort.
This affects Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) as well since she cares about her stepfather and will fret over how her mom’s holding up. It’d be out of character if Jax didn’t jump in here. Jax should do whatever he can to comfort Carly and help her through the tough Sonny ordeal ahead.
With Sonny missing and believed to possibly be deceased, Nina may fear Jax and Carly will reunite. This could be a tricky situation for Nina since she’ll have sympathy for Carly.
She won’t want to be insensitive, but she should also worry this could be a new beginning for “CarJax.” Nina may feel like Jax is slowly slipping away right before her very eyes.
This could easily lead to a situation where Nina spies on Carly and Jax – just to see if they’re on the verge of reuniting as she suspects. That could open the door to Nina learning the truth about what happened at the cliff edge AND learning Nelle is her bio daughter!
