General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) needs a way to heal her broken heart. Her world’s blown up, so now she regrets her actions. Nina acknowledged that she’s still be a happy family with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) if she’d made a different choice.
Nevertheless, Nina made what she now feels is the wrong decision and will have to live with the consequences. This whole ordeal has really riled Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) up.
There have been hints that perhaps Valentin isn’t Charlotte’s father after all. GH has really been playing up their father-daughter bond, which could be an indicator that it’s not what it seems to be.
A custody battle is brewing and Claudette Beaulieu (Bree Willamson) may be part of the equation.
Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) tasked Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) with finding Claudette and hopefully scoring some leverage. Laura Webber (Genie Francis) plans to help Curtis out with that mission soon enough.
Claudette undoubtedly has some secrets to spill – ones that Valentin potentially went to a great deal of trouble to keep her quiet about. Could Valentin secretly know that he’s not Charlotte’s true bio dad?
Regardless, there’s a good possibility Valentin isn’t Charlotte’s real papa. Charlotte may be yanked away from Valentin permanently, which would only add to Nina’s pain.
Nina’s fury could lead Lulu to cut her out, too. After all, Nina has no rights to Charlotte anyway. Even if Valentin’s blood tie remained intact, Nina knows things aren’t going to be the same. She’s lost Charlotte essentially and now Valentin stands to lose her as well.
This could obviously leave Nina in a pretty dark place. What could pull her back into the light? In the episode airing January 10, General Hospital brought back the half-heart necklace. Nina looked somber as she gazed at it and seemingly wished she could find the long-lost child she’s looking for.
Just after Nina gazed at this pendant, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) was immediately shown onscreen. It may have been a hint that Willow is Nina’s biological daughter, which makes sense considering the feud GH established between them.
Whatever the case, General Hospital is finally bringing that mystery back to the forefront. They’re hopefully going to move things along now that we’ve seen the necklace again.
Will Nina ultimately realize Willow has it? Will bonding with her bio daughter be what lifts her spirits after so much heartache? An emotional reunion could be looming!
It could take some time for Willow and Nina to form a true mother-daughter bond, but they would get there sooner or later. General Hospital spoilers say the clues will start piling up, so a major revelation may be in store.
