General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will eventually face some devastating news. For as long as anyone can remember, all Nina’s talked about is finding her long-lost daughter.
Nina thought she’d finally found her thanks to Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), who roped Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) into helping him grant Nina’s wish.
Nevertheless, that secret had to blow up sooner or later – and it indeed blew up! It was a tough blow for Nina when she realized Sasha wasn’t the real deal, but she’s tried to move on.
Now Nina’s on a mission to find her true daughter, but her plan’s going to bring even more heartache. That’s because Nina’s biological child just went over the edge of a cliff!
This seemingly sets up a crushing blow for Nina, who should be kept in the dark for a while. Even after Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) realizes the truth, he’ll want to spare Nina the pain of losing her child forever.
Nina talked to Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) about how she had to hope her child was out there somewhere living a good life. Jax certainly won’t want to take that hope away from Nina.
Although Jax’s main motive will be protecting Nina’s heart, she may believe this was more about protecting Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) when the whole story comes out.
During the week of August 31-September 4, General Hospital spoilers say Nina will inch closer to the daughter confirmation she’s seeking. Jax will likely have to thwart Nina’s search efforts, so she may start to worry she’ll never get answers.
However, those answers are sure to come in time. One way or another, Nina should find out her daughter is Nelle – and she should believe her daughter is dead!
Naturally, Nelle will most likely be alive and gearing up for a comeback at some point. From where Nina stands though, every last bit of hope should crumble. Nina’s heart will surely shatter over never being able to connect with Nelle.
Nina should battle guilt over turning her back on Nelle at the custody hearing and insisting Nelle wasn’t capable of change.
The moment Nina finds out about Nelle’s presumed death, it’ll completely change her view of Nelle and the situation. GH fans will undoubtedly see terrible grief hit hard, but there’s still hope for Nina and Nelle’s reunion. Nelle has a knack for getting out of tight spots!
