General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that a sad and powerful reminder is coming up for Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy). The one-year anniversary of Oscar Nero Quartermaine’s (Garren Stitt) death is just around the corner, so that’s something that’ll affect Josslyn emotionally.
However, this significant date may also help Joss realize something. Although this somber anniversary’s indeed going to hit her hard, perhaps it won’t hit her quite as hard as she thought it would.
Josslyn’s certainly going to do some mourning and will likely pay a visit to Oscar’s meadow. Still, Joss may find herself smiling over the good times instead of focusing on how much she misses her first love.
This could be what helps Josslyn reach a place of acceptance in the coming weeks. Josslyn may see that it’s finally time for her to move on with her life. GH fans know Joss has battled some guilt about that in the months since Oscar’s death. Part of Josslyn felt like she’d be betraying Oscar somehow.
There’s no rulebook on grieving, so Joss has just had to navigate the ups and downs as best as she could. Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), Cameron Webber (William Lipton), Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) and even Dev Cerci aka “Dev Corbin” (Ashton Arbab) have all been helpful to Joss as she’s tried to cope.
On the one-year anniversary of Oscar’s death, Josslyn may choose to have a little chat with Oscar. She might tell him that she has to do what he wanted and move on now. Oscar definitely didn’t want Josslyn to stop living her life just because he was departing this world. That was just another reason for Joss to seize the day and grab all life had to offer.
Oscar would want Joss to be happy and find love again, so Josslyn may admit she plans to. This could be sort of a final goodbye before Josslyn truly seeks fresh romantic beginning. Regardless, Joss will be ready to find new love during May sweeps. Unfortunately, the guy she wants may not want her back!
There’s a good chance Josslyn will try to go from friends to more than friends with Cameron – and that’s something he would’ve been thrilled about once upon a time. Now it’s a bit more complicated since Cam’s been through the fire with Trina. They’ve bonded and shared a kiss, so it’s clear that Cameron’s wrestling with complex feelings.
General Hospital spoilers suggest that Cam’s feelings for Trina may win out for the time being. It sounds like Joss will face some teen heartbreak, but could Dev pick up the pieces? As other GH news comes in, we’ll be sure to pass along updates.
