General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Parry Shen (Brad Cooper) recently shared a sweet memory with Ben Stiller following the death of his dad. Jerry Stiller died of natural causes at the age of 92, so that led to plenty of people like Shen opening up about how the comedy legend touched their lives. Shen told a great story and included a clip of when he once worked with Stiller’s father.
“I had the honor of working with your Dad on ‘TKOQ,’” Shen said to Stiller in a tweet. “After the table read, I was canned & your father talked to the producers & got me my job back. When I thanked him, he said, ‘Hey, it’s not Shakespeare!’ A class act & a legend. What a gift to the world. Deepest condolences.”
Stiller was touched by Shen’s revelation and kind words, so he offered his gratitude. “Thanks to this Parry,” Stiller said. “Glad you now know this story,” Shen replied. “Incredible guy.”
Shen certainly wasn’t the only one with a story like this to share, so the flood of heartwarming memories must’ve touched Stiller’s heart. It’s always difficult to lose a loved one, but remembering better days can help.
The video included some of Jerry Stiller’s classic comedic delivery as his character asked Cooper’s store clerk where they kept the good yams – you know, “the good ones in the back for the VIPs!”
It was great to see this throwback clip of them back when Cooper appeared on The King of Queens. It sounds like Cooper made a memory that’ll last a lifetime and got to know a fantastic actor in the process.
As for what’s next in Port Charles, General Hospital spoilers say Brad will remain behind bars while Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) fights for custody of Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson).
The custody battle ahead will bring some wild moments, so don’t miss all the action. You can bet Nelle will throw the Corinthos clan a few more curveballs before this hearing wraps up.
We’ll pass along more updates as other GH news emerges. General Hospital spoilers say there’s much more drama to come in Port Charles, so keep watching. CDL’s your go-to source for exciting General Hospital spoilers, updates and news posts, so don’t forget to drop by regularly.

#JerryStiller has passed. I had the distinct honor of working with him on “The King of Queens” in 1999.
After the table read, the next day my part was reduced to 2 lines and the role was given to another (older) actor. (Continued) pic.twitter.com/fPTXnVwLhY
