General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) guilt will get the best of him. As the pressure rises, Peter will make a major confession to Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms). Naturally, it won’t be the whole truth! Peter almost seems incapable of giving that at this point – at least willingly.
Instead, Peter will offer up part of the story. It’ll be the part that makes him most sympathetic in Maxie’s eyes, but it’ll also lead to a couple more obstacles. General Hospital spoilers say Peter will sit Maxie down and explain the suspicions he’s facing. He’ll admit that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Hamilton Finn’s (Michael Easton) relationship issues are about a disagreement over his past.
Peter will also bring Maxie up to speed on Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) latest takedown efforts. It sounds like Peter will confess that they teamed up with Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) and fought hard to destroy him. Their plan hit a snag thanks to Peter’s intervention, but he’ll still worry he’s not in the clear yet.
General Hospital spoilers say Peter will explain why they’ve come after him, although he won’t admit guilt in the matter. He’ll explain that Jason, Sam, Robert and Finn all think he’s behind the attempted murder of Andre Maddox (Anthony Montgomery) as well as Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth). Naturally, Maxie will probably think that’s crazy talk since Peter’s a hero in her eyes.
The topic of Drew Cain’s (Billy Miller) presumed death and their belief that Peter caused it should also come up. Peter will open up to Maxie as best as he can without letting her know he’s responsible.
Although Maxie won’t be happy about some of the things Peter’s been keeping from her, she’ll support him 100 percent. Maxie will fully believe Peter’s innocent – and she’ll intend to prove it.
Obviously, the fact that Maxie will try to clear Peter’s name presents a problem. For starters, it could lead to digging and that’s never a good thing! There’s also the fact that it simply can’t be done – not without more deception.
Of course, Peter’s a pro at lying by now, so that’s the strategy he’ll take. He’ll realize that what he really needs is a scapegoat. GH spoilers, updates and news say Peter will set out to pin his crimes on someone.
Peter will decide that’s the only way he can make his problems go away once and for all. Peter will hope he can put all of this to rest and move on with Maxie. He just has to find somebody to frame first!
