General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) made a strange move at the house on Wilson Avenue. Curtis discovered what appeared to be a letter when he peeled back a section of wall molding, but he chose to secretly pocket it.
It was particularly weird since Curtis found a postcard in the fireplace right after and read that to Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) immediately.
So why would Curtis share the postcard with Jordan but not the letter? We know Curtis would surely spill if that letter contained info pertinent to Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) takedown mission. Could the letter tie in with another case entirely?
Curtis still needs to track Phyllis Caulfield down for Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), so there’s another angle for GH writers to work. It’s possible Phyllis was working as the nurse for the person Cyrus cares about. Soaps love wild coincidences like that, so we certainly can’t rule it out.
Of course, whatever’s on that paper may lead Curtis to do some digging – even on the way home. Whether this letter points Curtis in the right direction or not, Nina isn’t getting good news here. Let’s consider how the next few episodes will play out.
We know Curtis and Jordan will still be at the house with Laura Collins (Genie Francis) on November 11.
Then, Curtis will travel home and presumably be the one to give Nina info on her long-lost child search. That’s happening on November 13 – and then on November 16, Nina will believe all hope is lost.
General Hospital spoilers say Nina will feel like she needs to accept defeat, so it sounds like maybe Phyllis Caulfield is dead. Nina may believe that means any hope of finding her long-lost son or daughter died with her.
Naturally, there are other possibilities like no further leads on Phyllis, but her demise would make this feel like a true dead end. Nina might give up on ever finding out her child’s identity – leaving Nelle Benson Jerome’s (Chloe Lanier) necklace as the last remaining hope to connect the dots.
As luck would have it, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will make a disturbing discovery right as Nina hits this dead end! It’s easy to envision this whole scenario.
Weepy Nina will guess she’ll never find the other half-heart pendant right as Carly stumbles across it in Avery Corinthos’ (Ava and Grace Scarola) possession.
