General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that viewers are in for a big week on the ABC soap. The new GH preview for the week of May 18 to May 21 promises a lot of action, so you won’t want to miss a beat! First off, Nelle Benson Archer (Chloe Lanier) will have a big announcement for the court. Nelle will burst in, fashionably late to her own custody hearing, with a big reveal. “The most incredible thing just happened,” Nelle will breathlessly tell the court.
Of course, given that Nelle is wearing a white dress, carrying a bouquet, and flashing a ring on her left hand, it’s clear that she’s just been married. It looks like it will take a few minutes for court to resume, and Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) will make her opinion known to the Corinthos family. “Of all the slimy, deceitful, underhanded moves,” Diane fumes to Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen).
Later in the promo, Nelle is shown having changed into another more appropriate outfit and saying, “It’s showtime,” probably to her attorney Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight).
In addition to explaining her marriage to who will almost certainly be Julian Jerome (William deVry), GH spoilers say that Nelle will put on the performance of a lifetime in court. Nelle’s determined to get her son away from Michael, and she’ll be on point.
It looks like Nelle will have some other surprises in addition to her big marriage announcement, too. She’ll likely have her new husband testify on her behalf, which should be pretty interesting, considering Julian’s history with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
Sonny’s not going to be too happy (to say the least) about Julian’s move, and he’ll surely retaliate later. But for the moment, the drama will all be in the courtroom.
The new GH preview also shows another unsettling scene involving Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson). As GH viewers know, Sasha recently had a tough time pulling herself together for the Deception photo shoot.
The shoot happened on the morning after Michael and Willow’s marriage, and Sasha couldn’t stop crying. Then some staff member offered Sasha a vial of powder, which Sasha ended up taking.
The drugs worked, and Sasha’s mood was immediately lifted. Sasha was able to complete the shoot, and chances are, she’ll be telling herself that she’ll never do drugs again. But the staff member is shown in the preview promo approaching Sasha with another vial of power, saying, “You never know when you’re going to need another boost.”
It’s pretty clear that Sasha is going to go down a very dark path here. Sasha will have a lot to cope with in the coming days, as she tries to move on as a successful businesswoman at Deception but is still coping with what she did to push Michael away. It looks like we’re looking at a Sasha addiction storyline coming soon.
