General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Nelle Benson Jerome’s (Chloe Lanier) sneaky move could have major consequences. In a shocking GH twist, Nelle sent the real letter that incriminates Julian Jerome (William deVry) to Pentonville.
It just showed up in the mail room addressed to none other than convicted serial killer Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) – Nelle’s old ally and only friend.
Julian’s still stumped about who received the true letter, but he should find out sooner or later. In the meantime, let’s discuss what Ryan’s going to do next!
Nelle sent Ryan this letter since he was her prison bestie and she didn’t really have any other options. However, Ryan’s proven that he always does what benefits him most.
Ryan would probably love to cause bodily harm by releasing this info and pointing Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) in Julian’s direction. It’d be the next best thing to committing another murder, which is clearly a favorite hobby of Ryan’s.
Even so, Ryan’s obsession with Ava Jerome (Maura West) may win out here. Ryan will probably start thinking about how he can use this info on Ava’s brother to his advantage. Julian is one of the few people Ava cares about and would do almost anything for.
Will Ryan blackmail Ava with that letter – knowing he might be the only thing standing between Julian and death at Sonny’s hands?
General Hospital spoilers say Ava will get an unsettling phone call during the week of October 5-9. Ryan could easily summon Ava to Pentvonville and argue that she’ll come if she wants to keep Julian alive.
That might be enough to convince Ava she needs to visit and see what Ryan’s up to now. What might be on Ryan’s list of demands?
Perhaps Ryan will know about Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) helping Cassandra Pierce (Jessica Tuck) escape and demand that Nik do the same for him. Ryan might push Ava to call in a favor from this inferior husband of hers.
Ava certainly wouldn’t want to put Ryan back out into the world, but Nikolas might argue that they should do it. If Ava wants rid of Ryan’s threat once and for all, killing him may be the only way.
Nikolas might propose turning the tables on Ryan with a murder plot. This could be a turning point where Nikolas starts working with Ava instead of against her.
The problem is Ryan would surely be cooking up a murder plot of his own! Ryan may still hope to start a new life with Ava, but he’d have to get rid of Nikolas first. Could Ryan be underestimating the dark prince or will Nikolas wind up in deadly danger?
Regardless, Nelle’s sneakiness brought a real curveball that’s sure to affect plenty of characters on canvas. We’ll offer updates as other GH news pops up.
