General Hospital (GH) spoilers has some great news to pass on about an upcoming movie starring a former GH star. Ryan Paevey, who portrayed Nathan West on the ABC soap, will be starring in an upcoming Hallmark Channel movie that will be part of the channel’s annual “Love Ever After” event…just in time for Valentine’s Day.
The Movie is called “Matching Hearts” and will premiere on Saturday, February 8th at 9pm Eastern on The Hallmark Channel. Ryan will play the male lead in the movie, who’s named Daniel and is a newcomer to Portland, Oregon, who’s taken on the name “Mr. Stay Single.”
The female lead in the movie is played by Taylor Cole, whom you might remember from Supernatural and the Ruby Herring Mysteries on The Hallmark Movies and Mysteries Channel. Taylor’s character is named Julia and is a professional matchmaker in town who cajoles Ryan Paevey’s character to join her matchmaking service.
But as they work together to find Daniel a match, Julia starts to have feelings for him. However, since she’s got a professional working relationship with Daniel, she needs to keep things professional and ends up covering her feelings. But after she takes the compatibility test herself and finds out she’s a great match with Daniel, she considers approaching him with the revelation.
Ultimately, Julia is approached by Daniel, who just might make a admission of his feelings for her. It certainly sounds like a great story that would be appropriate for romantics as well as the whole family.
Ryan Paevey’s fans will remember that he had a wonderfully successful Christmas movie back in 2019 called “Christmas At The Plaza” which delighted fans. We suspect that his fans will be thrilled about “Matching Hearts” as well, and as we reported back in December, “Matching Hearts” will also include several puppies that are thrown into the mix, which will certainly be an adorable touch!
