General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will try to focus on her future and figure out what her life’s going to look like now. GH fans know Sam recently decided to break up with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) – and she had a good reason why. Sam didn’t want her children to be so close to Jason’s dangerous world.
Although Sam realizes there’s always going to be some level of danger whether she’s with Jason or not, Sam felt she had to cut ties romantically. She wants to give Scout Cain (Ella Ramacieri) and Danny Morgan (Porter Fasullo) a chance at a more normal life, which is something Jason just can’t offer.
However, Sam will face a shocking revelation as 2021 gets underway. General Hospital spoilers say some huge medical news is in Sam’s future which could obviously affect ‘JaSam’, so she’ll be taken aback by what she discovers.
Sam will have to tackle a challenge as a result, so what does all this mean?
It’s interesting that General Hospital spoilers specifically call this medical news as opposed to a medical crisis. A crisis would be some disastrous thing for Sam, but news? That might be something positive or at least something complicated rather than bad. It might be an important distinction to note.
We should also consider Sam’s frame of mind right now. She’s all about the kids! Is there a chance that GH writers will give Sam one more? Could Sam be pregnant?!
It’s a possibility to consider, especially if General Hospital wants to deliver a stunning twist of fate here. How soapy would it be for Sam to dump Jason because of the kids – only to realize she’s pregnant with another child of Jason’s?
This could definitely make Sam wonder if she made the right call by breaking things off with Jason. It might feel like having a ‘JaSam’ family is Sam’s destiny – for better or for worse.
On the other hand, Sam could feel like she has yet another reason to shield her fam from all the Jason danger. That’s especially true since Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) will be running amok with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) out of the picture.
If Sam turns out to be pregnant, she might keep that secret under wraps for a while and try to determine her next move. There have been some hints about Sam and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) reconnecting in the weeks ahead, so pregnant Maxie would be a good person for Sam to lean on!
