General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Nelle Benson Archer (Chloe Lanier) has become Nelle Benson Jerome! As GH viewers know, Nelle approached Julian Jerome (William deVry) with some interesting information that she knew he’d want to hear. Then, the next morning, Nelle burst into the courtroom, fashionably late for the custody hearing and wearing a wedding dress.
Nelle then flashed her wedding ring, saying that something amazing had happened. It certainly looks like Nelle and Julian have tied the knot. Everyone at the custody hearing reeled, with Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) rolling her eyes in disbelief. Just wait until Nelle’s husband is revealed as being Julian!
Well, everyone is going to be stunned by that, and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) should be among the first to smell a rat – two rats actually. Just before Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) wedding at the Quartermaine mansion, Julian had a moment of peace with Sonny.
Julian suggested that he still cared about protecting Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Theo and Erik Olson) and added that the kid should be kept away from Nelle.
So imagine Sonny’s surprise when he finds out Julian is not only willing to testify on Nelle’s behalf, but he also married her to boost her custody case! Sonny’s going to know Nelle forced Julian into this marriage, so it may not be long until he figures out how.
GH fans know Sonny has spies he could easily send out to gather more intel.
Sonny hates Julian anyway, so no one will have to twist Sonny’s arm to take action against him. Julian’s keeping two major secrets from Sonny: the fact that he was involved in the baby switch coverup and his role in nearly killing Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes).
Sonny may be out for blood if he gets updates on Julian helping Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) steal Michael’s baby AND almost causing the death of Carly’s brother. Carly was a mess when she though comatose Lucas wasn’t going to make it.
The baby swap part of this alone would be enough to make Sonny seek deadly revenge. In fact, Sonny himself already said so!
Back in March, Sonny visited Julian and let him know there’d be a price to pay if he wasn’t telling the whole story. “But if I find out you had anything to do with helping Brad steal my grandson…that’s something I would have to address with you,” Sonny said menacingly.
Of course, General Hospital viewers know how Sonny addresses things, so this could bring serious trouble for Julian.
When you throw in the Lucas crash shocker and the way Julian’s helping Nelle to save his own skin, Sonny will have some great reasons to take his nemesis down. Sonny may plot to make Nelle a widow again once Julian’s dark secrets come to light!
Julian may not even have time to get a quick divorce once Nelle’s leverage is gone. You can bet Sonny’s reaction will be swift and fierce.
