General Hospital (GH) spoilers has some fantastic Birthday news to pass on about a current GH star and Y&R alum. Steve Burton, who plays Jason Morgan on GH and who used to play Dylan McAvoy on Y&R, is celebrating a very special birthday this weekend. Steve turns 50 on Sunday, June 28th, and his wife Sheree commemorated the big event on her Instagram feed.
Sheree posted a nice photo of herself with Steve on the beach, along with several other photos of themselves with their beautiful family, as well as some throwback photos of Steve from earlier days. Steve and Sheree have three children: Makena (15), Jack (12), and Brooklyn (4), and their family photos are always gorgeous.
Along with the pictures, Sheree posted the following caption: “Happy Birthday Steve!!! @1steveburton How are you 50????” Sheree then shared a personal story, saying: “I met Steve when he told me that he was 27, I thought ‘woah, that’s almost 30!’ …and here we are. Where the heck does the time go?”
Sheree continued: “I’m not going to get all mushy on social media, but Steve, you know you’re loved and adored by so many! I’ve never seen anything like it, and I’ve never met someone who cares so much about other people. Happy 50th Steve! You don’t look it, and you certainly don’t act it. You deserve the best! We love you so much.”
What a great message, and fans and other soap stars were quick to comment on Sheree’s message. Michelle Stafford (Phyllis Summers, Y&R; ex-Nina Reeves, GH) replied, saying: “Happy bday Stevie B!!!!!” And Courtney Hope (Sally Spectra, B&B) said: “Happy bday @1steveburton.”
Plenty of Sheree’s followers and Steve’s fans responded to the post as well, sharing their well-wishes for Steve’s birthday. For example, one person said: “Happy Birthday, Stone Cold!!” and someone else commented: “Happy Birthday Steve!! My favorite actor on my favorite show! I will be 50 in a few months…we will grow old together! Haha.”
Steve’s last post on his Instagram feed was back on Father’s Day, when he posted a photo of himself with his three kids on the beach. He commented in that post about what a great gift it was to be a dad to his three awesome kids, and he used the hashtags #grateful and #blessed. It was great to see.
