General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) has reached her breaking point. Sam’s been dealing with doubts and concerns for a while now, but Danny Morgan’s (Porter Fasullo) heartbreaking confession seemed to be the last straw.
Sam urged Danny to share his feelings, so Danny admitted it’s hard never knowing when Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will be around. They can’t make any real plans as a family, so that’s rough on the kid.
Danny also hates all the guards and suggested his friends’ parents are scared of his dad. Poor Danny loves Jason, but he just wishes they could be a normal family.
Since Danny conveyed a lot of the same fears that Sam’s been dealing with, it’s easy to see why she decided it was time to cut ties.
That’s especially true since Sam just found out about Julian’s latest string of crimes. Sam pointed out that when you live the life of a mobster, you don’t get a happy ending.
It’s clear that Sam’s had enough, so she warned Jason not to come back after he left. General Hospital spoilers say Sam will reiterate her stance on Wednesday, December 9. Jason will be hurt as he realizes Sam wants him to move out.
The idea of losing Sam and living separately from their family will be difficult for Jason to bear.
GH fans know Jason and Sam have gone through so much just to be together. Think about how Sam risked parole violations for Jason’s sake. Sam risked going back to prison – and losing time with her children – just so she could sneak around with Jason occasionally.
It really hasn’t been that long since Sam was taking just as many gambles and not playing it safe at all.
However, something has obviously shifted for Sam. She’s not the danger junkie Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Lexi Ainsworth) warned about anymore. Sam seems to be putting Danny and Scout Cain’s (Ella Ramacieri) well-being above all else.
It’s tough to blame Sam for that since the kids have to come first. Danny could’ve been killed in that explosion, so that had to be a serious wakeup call. At the same time, “JaSam” fans are probably feeling pretty cheated right now.
Sam and Jason haven’t had a truly happy reunion period since Steve Burton came back as Jason – and now this romance is completely shattering.
