General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Thursday, April 16, teases that Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) will hope to end Violet Finn’s (Jophielle Love) party on a high note. The birthday bash has been a huge success so far, but Charlotte Cassadine’s (Scarlett Fernandez) hoping things head downhill fast.

Charlotte placed a snake in the pinata, so she’s hoping this shindig will dissolve into madness. During a chat with Aiden Webber (Jason David), Charlotte will drop a hint about her big surprise and how she wants everyone to see it.

All the guests will gather as Finn instructs them on the pinata smashing. Charlotte will anxiously await some snake slithering along with the falling candy.

However, Charlotte may be confused when there’s no snake in sight. Snakes have a nasty habit of crawling away, so it’s doubtful that one stayed where Charlotte put it. GH fans will recall how Ava Jerome (Maura West) grabbed her massive purse so she could get her phone out.

There wasn’t much point to that other than showing us the purse and where Ava placed it – just above where the pinata was sitting. Of course, we should also consider the way Charlotte snapped at Ava over missing Wyndemere.

Charlotte griped about Butterscotch longing for her stall and corrected Ava on the difference between a pony and a horse. It’s clear that Charlotte isn’t Ava’s biggest fan.

This seems like a setup for the snake to land in Ava’s bag, which lines up with some other General Hospital spoilers. The latest info insists Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will give Charlotte a lecture after the chaos. Valentin will be upset over Charlotte going around putting snakes in people’s bags, so bags are specifically mentioned here.

By the end of Thursday’s GH episode, Ava will probably shriek in terror. Charlotte may be blamed for targeting Ava, even though that’s not what happened. Sadly, the truth isn’t much better! Charlotte will be in trouble no matter what, so she’ll just have to take whatever punishment she gets.

Other General Hospital spoilers say Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will want to take Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) out ASAP. The sooner Sonny and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) eliminate their problem, the better off they’ll be.

Nevertheless, they have to be strategic or else danger could explode again. Cyrus is a deadly man, so it’s crucial to nail down the details exactly.

Over with Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen), she’ll get reassurance from Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard). Chase won’t think Willow should worry about his feelings on the whole marriage issue. If Willow wants to marry Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) to protect Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson), then she should. This is Willow’s decision to make, so Chase will make that crystal clear.

At GH, Michael will fear Nelle Benson Archer (Chloe Lanier) could pull off a win in the custody battle. Although Michael wants to believe Diane Miller (Carolyn Henessy) can handle this, he’ll be concerned about what’ll happen if he’s wrong. Michael won’t want Wiley to suffer, especially since Willow assured Michael she’d marry him if it was the only way.

Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) will get updates on Michael’s worries. They’ll do their best to support Michael, but marrying Willow would give him far more peace of mind – and Sasha knows that. Chase will soon feel the same about Willow’s side of things, so he’ll team up with Sasha to make this “Millow” marriage happen.

Other General Hospital spoilers say Peter August (Wes Ramsey) will cause more conflict. Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will think Peter’s more than paid for his misdeeds, but Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) will disagree on that. They’ll spar over what Peter deserves, but Robert won’t be deterred from going after him.

Peter called someone to order a distraction for Robert, so we’ll see how long that slows the DA down. There’s a chance it’ll only make Robert more determined to sink Peter!

We’ll keep you posted on all the hottest GH news. Do you think Peter’s latest move will backfire? Will Robert get the dirt he needs to expose Peter? CDL’s your go-to source for great General Hospital spoilers, updates and news.
