General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Thursday, April 23, tease that Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) will get on Kristina Corinthos-Davis’ (Lexi Ainsworth) bad side. They’ll have a tense encounter, but Brando will ultimately back down and insist he owes Kristina an apology. Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will also be on hand to spar with Brando, so he really won’t get off on the right foot here.
Brando will try to undo the damage, but that’ll be tough since Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos) shares a startling secret with him. They hooked up while TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) was being held hostage, so Molly will fill her sister in eventually. It could add to Brando’s issues with all the Davis girls!
In the meantime, Molly will focus on leaving TJ in the dark. At GH, TJ will be in his scrubs as he utters “the most romantic words” she’s ever heard. Perhaps those words will be “domestic partnership” since that’s what Molly and TJ recently decided to enter into. General Hospital spoilers say Molly will kiss TJ and pretend everything’s fine, but she’ll be battling a mountain of guilt and worries.
Over with a very scruffy Neil Byrne (Joe Flanigan), Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will sit down for an honest discussion with him. Thursday’s preview video shows Alexis asking, “What’s next for both of us?” GH spoilers say Alexis and Neil will finally push all their obstacles aside soon, but it won’t be long until more come along.
Until then, Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) will try to stay a step ahead of Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). During a conversation with Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), Jordan will suggest she has a pretty good idea of what Cyrus is planning next. Jordan certainly doesn’t want Cyrus to cause more destruction, so Jordan will do what she can to prevent that.
However, it seems Jordan will think maybe the best thing she could do is resign. That might appease Cyrus somewhat. Plus, it would allow Jordan to break the law a bit more freely – and sometimes that’s what it takes to deal with a guy like Cyrus.
Of course, Curtis may insist there’s no need to do something so drastic. He might add that Jordan’s history with Cyrus makes her the perfect person to go up against him. Jordan has a strong motive to make Cyrus pay after all the drama he’s caused, especially since TJ’s life was in danger.
The new police commissioner might not have that same commitment to stopping Cyrus, so Jordan might rethink this resignation idea. Regardless, the mayor will be busy having a faceoff with Cyrus on Thursday. General Hospital spoilers say Laura Collins (Genie Francs) will push Cyrus’ buttons when she spots him. Laura will needle Cyrus about not doing his research since she’s definitely done hers.
GH fans can also expect a shocking phone call for Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan), who’ll be sitting at this table with Cyrus when Laura arrives. Cyrus may have some sort of pitch for The Invader, but Laura may be wrong about her research assumption.
This could be Cyrus’ way of getting a little too close for comfort! Targeting Laura’s daughter seems like a tactic that would accomplish that.
Across town, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will argue with Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), who may think Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) is right about the DNR. Mike Corbin (Max Gail) definitely needs one at this stage of his Alzheimer’s. Sonny will ask if Carly just wants him to let his father die.
Sadly, that’s exactly what Sonny has to do at this point. As painful as it is, Mike’s fight with Alzheimer’s almost over. That’s something Sonny will have to accept soon enough. General Hospital spoilers say Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will also offer some words of wisdom on Thursday. After Sonny shares his struggles, Jason will provide plenty of support.
