General Hospital Spoilers: Thursday, April 9 Update – Little Nelle’s Wearing Half-Heart Necklace – Young Carly & Frank Faceoff

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Thursday, April 9, teases that the origin of Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) other necklace half will be revealed. GH viewers know Nina’s been pondering that half-heart pendant even more lately. Nina will talk to Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) about her long-lost daughter, but she may not express much hope in finding her.

Thursday’s preview video show Jax acknowledging that Nina doesn’t seem too convinced of something. Nina replies, “’Cause I’m not.” It’s possible Nina will be talking about her chances of finding her biological child.

Then again, Nina may doubt that Nelle Benson Archer (Chloe Lanier) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) can ever reach any kind of truce.

Regardless, General Hospital spoilers say an heirloom will play a significant role in the drama. GH fans will see a newly created flashback of when Young Carly (Eden McCoy) went to see Frank Benson (James Patrick Stuart), the adoptive father who ultimately wanted nothing to do with her.

Young Nelle (Willa Rose) will witness their encounter in this flashback – and she’ll be wearing the half-heart pendant necklace! Back in the present, Nelle will argue that Frank wanted them to be sisters and asked Carly to stay. However, Nelle was just a little kid and may have twisted this memory around.

General Hospital Spoilers: Monday, April 10 – Nina Admits She’s Like Nelle – Valentin & Laura’s Secret Meeting – Maxie’s Goodbye to Liesl General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Monday, April 10, tease that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will spend some time reflecting on the things she’s done and who she really is. Nina will tell Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) that maybe she’s more like Nelle Benson Archer (Chloe Lanier) than she wants to admit. Of course, Nina had better start accepting the idea since Nelle was just revealed as her biological daughter! Little Janelle had the necklace on in those flashbacks, and the other half of the heart pendant was prominently displayed in Nelle’s keepsake box. It’ll be interesting to see how Nina and Nelle ultimately find out the truth about their connection. In the meantime, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will sit down for a conversation with Laura Collins (Genie Francis). Laura will point out that Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) doesn’t know anything about this meeting. GH spoilers say Laura will intercept a message that was supposed to be given to Lulu. If that involves Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) and the custody agreement, perhaps Laura will step up to deal with it herself. Laura wasn’t able to stop Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) release, but she may feel like she can handle Valentin! However, GH fans can expect Valentin to gain some sort of advantage on Monday. No matter how this secret Laura meeting plays out, Valentin won’t lose sight of his ELQ takeover goal. That should remain Valentin’s priority in the weeks ahead, so we’ll see if his advantage ties in with that. Other General Hospital spoilers say Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) will drop by to see Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) in lockup. Liesl will fume over Peter August (Wes Ramsey) covering his tracks and hope Robert can find a way to clear her name. Robert certainly wants to bring Peter down, so he’ll do everything in his power to put the right person behind bars. General Hospital spoilers state that Liesl will get another visitor later. Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will show up and admit she came to say goodbye. Liesl will likely once again insist she’s innocent and beg Maxie to believe her, but Maxie’s in too deep with Peter. Since Maxie’s putting her faith in Peter instead of Liesl, she’s setting herself up for major heartache. Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will be in the same boat once Peter’s exposed down the road, but she’ll remain completely duped for now. Peter will assure Anna that he’ll do everything in his power to keep what he has. Although Peter’s determined to make sure everyone stays fooled, that plan won’t work forever. Finally, Lulu will have a fierce faceoff – and it looks like it’ll once again be with Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton). Brook Lynn always knows just the right buttons to push, so she’ll do something that prompts another physical attack. This rivalry is still going strong and will only get worse if Brook Lynn grows closer to her ex and Lulu's boyfriend, Dustin “Dusty” Phillips (Mark Lawson). As other GH news rolls in, CDL will have more great updates to deliver. General Hospital spoilers say some stunning moments are ahead in Port Charles, so stay tuned. Carly may remember a very different story since we know Frank wasn’t a good guy. Frank will actually say some pretty terrible things to Young Carly in the flashback, although that might be after she turns down his offer.

Whatever the case, Young Carly will indeed see Young Nelle and know she exists – just as Nelle claims she did.

Carly most likely caught a glimpse of Nelle’s necklace, too. Maybe Nelle even tried to show it to Carly or made some effort to connect and got rejected. It’s obvious that General Hospital’s trying to play up a more sympathetic angle for Nelle. GH viewers are seeing Nelle’s motives a bit more clearly, even if they don’t agree with them.

Other General Hospital spoilers say Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will have a suggestion for Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard). Since Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) is struggling over all the custody chaos, Michael will point out that she doesn’t have to testify at the hearing. Willow’s been through a lot, so Michael won’t want to add to her pain.

Nevertheless, Willow’s determined to have her say and save Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson) from Nelle’s grasp. During an emotional discussion at GH, Willow will tell Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) that she has to do more than feel protective.

Willow should make the life-altering choice to marry Michael before long, so quite a blow’s brewing for Chase.

As for Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), she’ll continue her chat with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). Joss wishes Nelle had never entered their lives, so she may blame herself on some level due to her kidney transplant.

Still, the past can’t be undone – and Jason will suggest none of them would want to anyway. Wiley exists because Nelle came to Port Charles, so her arrival wasn’t all bad!
