General Hospital (GH) spoilers Thursday, August 13, tease that Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) will try to nudge Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) in the direction of peace and forgiveness. GH fans know Ned kicked Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Briana Lane) out of the house thanks to her lack of family loyalty. However, family loyalty also means figuring things out when conflict strikes.
Olivia may try to remind Ned of how much his daughter means to him. Perhaps Olivia will argue that she’d give anything to have Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) back home and in her life.
Ned might contend that the situations are completely different. He’ll manage to upset Olivia somehow, so he’ll probably back off and acknowledge that Dante’s ordeal is a sensitive subject.
“You’re damn right it’s sensitive!” Olivia shouts in Thursday’s GH preview video. Ned will have to do some damage control, but it’s clear that big problems could be emerging in Ned and Olivia’s marriage. We’ll see it Dante’s eventual return will help or if those problems perhaps run deeper.
In the meantime, it looks like Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will catch up with Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson). Chase and Sasha may get updates on the custody outcome soon enough.
At least Sasha and Chase can take comfort in knowing their sacrifice was worth it, but they’ll remain in great pain. Giving up Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) was a tough thing to do.
Nevertheless, all that Sasha and Chase can do now is move forward. After Sasha apparently mentions someone proving helpful, Chase will contend that maybe she should return the favor. This might have something to do with those “boosts” Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) production assistant keeps offering.
There’s no denying that Sasha was able to pull it together with the help of that first drug vial – and she later accepted a second one. However, this obviously isn’t all that helpful since Sasha could be headed down a dark path.
General Hospital spoilers say Sasha will be offered another pick-me-up drug dose on Thursday, so that’s bound to spell trouble!
Over with Ava Cassadine (Maura West), she’ll likely assure Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) that she cares about Spencer Cassadine (Nicolas Bechtel). The goal was certainly never to hurt Spencer, so it seems Nikolas will want Ava to prove that if she means it.
This may be Nikolas’ last-ditch effort to wiggle out of the marriage with his fortune intact.
Ava will likely stand her ground, so Nikolas may just have to divorce Ava anyway. As for Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), she’ll clash with Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) once again.
When Franco tries to use Liz and the boys to justify his actions, Elizabeth won’t like it one bit. Liz will shut down Franco’s excuses and focus on the real issue, which is his jealousy over Nikolas.
Next, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will be glad to see Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) on the mend at GH. Carly will talk to Jason about meeting her halfway, so she might suggest an adjustment to the power of attorney.
That put a ton of pressure on Carly and was difficult for Sam, so maybe Carly will think they need a better solution for the future.
Over with Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan), she’ll be frustrated over Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) foothold at the hospital. Lulu will discuss the matter with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and seek a favor, so we’ll see if they can stop this threat before it spirals out of control.
Sam McCall (Lindsay Hartley) will also get some horrible news on Thursday, so she’ll probably find out the consequences of giving Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) the upper hand.
Valentin’s the new CEO of ELQ – and that’s partly Sam’s fault. Jason isn’t going to be happy about this, so more “JaSam” tension should be brewing.
