General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Thursday, August 27, reveal that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) stopped by Jordan’s Ashford’s (Briana Nicole Henry) office with Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews) on his mind.
Curtis was playing the “what if” game about the warehouse shooting, wondering if perhaps he could have saved Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) from all her grief over losing her dad.
Curtis also revealed Portia Robinson’s (Brooke Kerr) revelation at the Nurses’ Ball that her marriage to Taggert crumbled after her affair with Curtis. Jordan thought that must have been difficult for Curtis to hear, and Curtis said that he wanted to tell Jordan about it because he didn’t want any secrets between them. Jordan looked unnerved.
At the safe house, Taggert told Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) that he came back to protect his family from Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober).
Sonny tried to urge Taggert to take Cyrus out, but Taggert said that Jordan wanted to play it her way, and he respected that. Taggert urged Sonny and Jason to take Cyrus out, but Sonny balked, saying that things would have to be just right to make that kind of move.
Taggert said that his next move was to disappear again, and he got dressed and took off.
At the hospital, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Briana Lane) got a visit from Portia, who told Brook Lynn, Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth), and Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) that her prognosis was good but that she shouldn’t try to talk.
Brook Lynn flashed back to telling Michael about the tracker on Wiley Quartermaine Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson). Later, Brook Lynn rested and flashed back to Ned throwing her out of the house and shutting the door in her face.
In the hallway outside Brook Lynn’s room, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) go a call from Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) saying that he got a lead on Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier) and that she was on her way to a cabin in the woods.
Carly and Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) took off to meet Michael at the cabin.
Later, Ned and Olivia talked outside of Brook Lynn’s room. Ned lamented about witnessing the epic battles between his mother and his grandfather, and about how he had acted just like his grandfather with Brook Lynn.
Ned said that while Brook Lynn made a mistake and got hoodwinked by Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), he made his own mistake by putting business over family. Ned was grateful that he had the chance to make things right with Brook Lynn.
At the cabin, Nelle destroyed the tracker, but it was too late. Michael burst in the door, and Nelle hit him over the head with a bottle, but Michael didn’t go down. Instead, Michael yelled at Nelle asking where Wiley was.
Nelle, who was wearing her half-heart pendant around her neck, argued with Michael and the two bickered until Wiley started fussing in the other room. Nelle fled on foot out the back door of the cabin, while Michael went into see Wiley.
Carly and Jax arrived at the cabin, and Michael updated them on finding Nelle and Nelle bolting out the back door. Jax went outside to call the police on his satellite phone since there was terrible cell phone reception at the cabin, and Carly decided to take off after Nelle on foot.
Michael waited inside, frustrated. Outside, Jax called Jordan and told her that Wiley was found and safe.
Back at the safe house, Sonny got a call from Jordan about Wiley’s rescue, saying that Jax had called it in, which Sonny found interesting. Jordan reported that Nelle was still missing but there was a dragnet in place looking for her.
Sonny disconnected, then turned to Jason, who wondered if it was time to take Cyrus out. Sonny said that now wasn’t the time, and that Cyrus needed to fail and leave Port Charles, because if they took him out, then he’d just be replaced with someone else.
Back at the hospital, Olivia got a call from Sonny saying that Wiley was found safe, and she went to Brook Lynn’s room and told Brook Lynn and Ned that Wiley had been found. ‘I don’t know how they found him, but they did,” Olivia mused. Brook Lynn smiled.
Back at the cabin, Jax walked in from outside and asked where Carly was. Michael said that Carly had gone after Nelle, and Jax took off after Carly.
Meanwhile, out in the woods, Carly caught up to Nelle, and the women argued fiercely, with Carly fuming that Nelle was going to prison for what she did to Brook Lynn and for kidnapping Wiley. Nelle fired back that Carly must be thrilled about that, and more arguing ensued.
Nelle blamed Carly for everything bad that happened in her life, but Carly wasn’t having it. Carly insisted that Nelle did all of this to herself, and that Nelle was incapable of accepting kindness and love.
Carly urged Nelle to take some responsibility and turn herself in. Nelle told Carly to come and get her, and she ran off after tussling with Carly and kicking her to the ground. Shortly thereafter, Carly heard Nelle scream.
Carly ran toward the sound of Nelle’s voice and found Nelle hanging onto the side of a cliff. “Carly, you have to help me, I can’t hold on much longer,” Nelle screamed. “Grab my hand!” Carly said. Nelle did, but she ended up slipping and falling to the ground below. Carly was horrified.
At Kelly’s, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Trina enjoyed their iced teas and talked about Cameron Webber (William Lipton). Josslyn asked Trina if she thought Cameron was acting weird around her, and then Josslyn realized that perhaps Cameron had been acting weird because of Trina.
Trina tried to deflect, but Joss kept pushing, and finally Trina admitted that she and Cameron had kissed. Josslyn was stunned, but Trina insisted that there weren’t ongoing feelings there.
Trina and Josslyn decided to pinky swear that no boy would come between them, and just then Portia walked in, followed shortly by Curtis, who praised the girls on their awesome Nurses’ Ball performance. Cameron then sent Josslyn and Trina a funny text, which made them both laugh.
Portia and Curtis stepped away for a moment, and Curtis said that it was good to see Trina smile. Portia returned to Trina, and as they were interacting, Taggert lurked outside in a hoodie watching.
Finally, back at Jordan’s office, Jason burst in the door. Jordan complained that Jason couldn’t just come barging in her office at will, but Jason said, “I just saw a friend of yours and you have a lot of explaining to do.”
