General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Thursday, February 27, reveal that Cameron Webber (William Lipton) and Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) happily took selfies in their ride-share SUV, while their driver announced that he was taking a short cut. After a while, Cameron and Trina realized that something was going on when the driver clearly wasn’t taking them to the dance. The driver eventually held them at gunpoint and threw their phones out the window.
Meanwhile, over at the Metro Court, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) bumped into Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos) near the elevators. Molly explained that she and TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) were having dinner later, and Molly griped about her friend’s wedding nightmare. Alexis wished her well on her date later.
At the hospital, TJ spoke briefly with Neil Byrne (Joe Flanigan), who asked if TJ had proposed to Molly yet. Neil advised TJ not to wait for the “perfect” time, and that if it feels right, then go for it.
TJ said that he was planning on asking Molly tonight. Later, Neil saw Alexis at the hospital and revealed that he was in the running for a staff position at GH, pending his hearing in New York.
Neil revealed that he was struggling with the situation, and they talked about their one kiss at Drag Bingo, then spoke a bit about TJ’s plan to propose to Molly later that night. Alexis was happy about that. Back at the Metro Court, Molly and TJ sat at the bar, after TJ secretly handed off an engagement ring to the hostess.
He and Molly talked, and Molly immediately started ranting about the commercialism and patriarchal issues involved with marriages. TJ said it wasn’t like that anymore, but she called it a “stupid fairytale” and he started to get worried, then ran off to find the hostess before she could deliver the ring to the table. He didn’t make it in time, and the hostess brought the ring on a piece of cake.
Molly looked at the ring, shocked. She said it was beautiful, and TJ then said that he knew she had reservations about marriage, but that they could make it work, and that he wouldn’t ask her to sacrifice her career or anything else. He then asked her to marry her, and she responded that she was a little overwhelmed, and that he was brave to propose to her after she went on like that, but that she didn’t want to marry him.
At GH, Marcus Taggert (Real Andrews) told Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) that he asked Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) to work with him to take down Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). Jordan immediately refused, and Taggert left. Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) then said that he agreed with Taggert, and that Jordan’s life could depend on her working with Sonny.
Meanwhile, at Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and Franco Baldwin’s (Roger Howarth) house, he sent her on a scavenger hunt to find her anniversary present, which turned out to be art supplies. Taggert then dropped by, having missed Trina, but while he was there, he received a photo of Trina and Cameron saying, “we have your daughter” and giving him an address. He left immediately, and later Elizabeth got a text from Cameron saying, “kidnapped – help.”
At Sonny’s office, he and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) discussed what to do about Cyrus. Sonny said they needed to be careful working with Taggert if they go that route. They decided to track Cyrus’ movement in Pentonville, so they’d know when he was alone and vulnerable, but no moves were to be taken yet. Soon, Jordan and Curtis arrived, and Jordan spoke with Sonny and Jason privately.
Jordan mentioned Taggert’s meeting with Sonny, but Sonny played coy. She noted that Taggert was attacked shortly after their meeting, and that Cyrus had eyes on Sonny’s family. Meanwhile, out in the entryway, Curtis got a call from Taggert saying that Trina had been kidnapped and that he shouldn’t tell Jordan. He gave Curtis the address where Trina was being held and asked for Curtis’ help.
Jason then received a call from Elizabeth saying that Cameron had been kidnapped. She sent him the information from Cameron about the ride-share driver’s identity and Jason immediately recognized him as one of Cyrus’ guys. He said that he knew the guy.
At the Corinthos house, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) frantically looked for Dev Cerci (Ashton Arbab) to ask him about the bullet she found in his backpack. She then remembered that Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) wanted to go to the Midwinter Formal and raced to the door, only to find Josslyn, Dev, and Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) there. Turns out, Brando caught the teens trying to leave.
Carly quizzed Dev about the bullet, who insisted that it wasn’t his and that he didn’t know how it got in his backpack. They deduced that someone must have put it there when the backpack was in Dev’s locker at school.
Brando said that someone was clearly watching everyone in this family. Sonny then arrived home and got up to speed on the bullet. They all agreed that It was too dangerous to send Dev to boarding school right now.
Finally, Taggert showed up at the address where Trina and Cameron were being held. He walked in and called out, “I’m here, I followed your orders, where’s my daughter?” Cyrus’ guy appeared and soon Trina and Cameron emerged, being held by some thugs. Meanwhile, Curtis hid behind a fence outside, gun drawn.
