General Hospital Spoilers: Thursday, March 19 Recap - Lulu Jumps On ELQ Story - Maxie Vows Revenge on Nina - Spinelli Startling News

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Thursday, March 19, reveal that Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) was working out at the gym when Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) approached and asked if he could hit the punching bag. Brando held the bag while Spinelli introduced himself and punched the bag. Spinelli went on about the situation with Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Peter August (Wes Ramsey) without naming names. Brando advised Spinelli to follow his gut and step up.

Meanwhile, in the Corinthos kitchen, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) talked with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), then Carly took off and Jason told Sonny about Lorraine “Harmony” Miller’s (Inga Cadranel) odd visit to Brando’s shop. Jason opined that whatever Harmony’s mixed up in must have some connection to Sonny. Sonny told Jason to stay on it.

Later, Brando stopped by Sonny’s place and Sonny got his take on the Harmony visit. Brando noted that he didn’t want anything to do with Sonny’s business, but that it seems that Sonny’s business has found him. Brando offered his help to Sonny if it would help move things along so that he could go on with his life, but Sonny declined.

At the Metro Court, Peter was accosted by Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers), who needled him about Liesl Obrecht’s (Kathleen Gati) arrest. Peter said that Obrecht had fooled him, but that justice obviously prevailed.

Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) wanted a word with Robert, and Peter left and sat at a table alone. Olivia asked Robert if he had heard anything about Dante Falconeri (Domimick Zamprogna), and Robert said no, but that he’d reach out to someone.

Across the restaurant, Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) showed Maxie what Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) had posted on Facebook – a memo about a merger between ELQ and Marten MedTech that would involve the closing of a local facility.

Maxie warned Lulu against acting on the information, but the reporter in Lulu won out and she decided to go ask Peter if she could run with the story. She did, and he said to go for it.

Lulu returned to join Maxie again, and Maxie thanked Lulu for encouraging her to talk to Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) about wanting a promotion. Lulu said that she deserved a promotion, and that she’d order Champagne while Maxie ran upstairs to Crimson for a moment. Maxie took off, and Lulu called ELQ asking for a comment about the Marten MedTech merger.

Over at GH, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) talked happily with Hamilton Finn (Michael Eason) about Violet Barnes’ (Jophielle Love) birthday party.

Finn lamented that Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) wouldn’t be there for the party, and Anna suggested just focusing on Violet and making the day special for her. Talk then turned to their wedding planning, and Anna and Finn decided they wanted a big celebration.

Later, Robert arrived at the hospital to see Finn. Robert said that he was still concerned about Peter, and that the Obrecht arrest was just too nice and neat. Robert asked fin to stay on guard when Peter was around Anna. Finn asked Robert to be cordial to Peter at Violet’s birthday party.

At Crimson, Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) explained to Nina that he couldn’t give more money to Crimson because it would look like favoritism now that they’re dating. Nina didn’t like it, but she understood.

Later, Maxie arrived, and Nina nervously told her that she’d get a new title, but that she couldn’t find room in the budget for a salary increase. Maxie lashed out, then left in a huff. After, Nina called someone and said that she could really use a friend.

Next, at ELQ, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) walked in with Wiley Quartermaine Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson). They greeted Brook Lynn and Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth), and pretty soon Ned got call from someone at Marten MedTech who was angry about the merger documents being posted online.

About that time, Olivia walked in. Ned raged at Brook Lynn for posting a confidential document on the web. Michael tried to defend Brook Lynn, saying that it was an honest mistake.

Eventually, Ned told Brook Lynn to just go home, and Brook Lynn checked her Facebook page, realizing that the information about the merger got to the Invader by way of Lulu.

Back at the gym, Anna arrived for a workout as Spinelli was leaving and Jason was arriving. Anna asked them both to accept that Peter had been exonerated and that he wasn’t a criminal.

Spinelli said that he was doing his best to live and let live, then he stepped aside and listened to a phone message, which upset him terribly. Meanwhile, Jason told Anna that he couldn’t pretend to believe something that he didn’t.

At the Metro Court, Jax talked with Carly about the possibility of taking Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) to Australia. Carly stated that Josslyn didn’t want to go, but Jax said that it might be for the best. Carly got ruffled, arguing that they just needed to monitor the situation together. Jax reluctantly agreed.

Meanwhile, Maxie then returned from her visit with Nina and told Lulu that her promotion was denied and that she was going to get even. Maxie left, and Brook Lynn rushed up to Lulu, angry. Lulu said that she was just enjoying Brook Lynn’s Facebook post, and that “for a has been, you sure know how to stay relevant.”
