General Hospital Spoilers: Thursday, May 21 – Surprise Pregnancy, Baby Bomb Strikes – Nelle’s Sole Custody Courtroom Performance

General Hospital Spoilers: Thursday, May 21 – Surprise Pregnancy, Baby Bomb Strikes – Nelle’s Sole Custody Courtroom Performance

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Thursday, May 21, tease that Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) will hurl some harsh accusations at Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero). Brook Lynn will snarl that it looks like Olivia’s having an affair behind her dad’s back. Of course, it’s doubtful Olivia is actually cheating on Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth), so there must be some other explanation.

We should also note that a shocking pregnancy will be revealed in Thursday’s episode. Since GH writers have a penchant for offscreen hookups, could Brook Lynn be the one with a bun in the oven? Sometimes cheaters are first in line to accuse others of cheating. If Brook Lynn secretly slept with someone like Dustin Phillips (Mark Lawson), that could explain a lot.

Regardless, let’s put that pregnancy issue aside for now. Over with Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers), he’ll assure Laura Collins (Genie Francis) that the reports of Holly Sutton’s (Emma Samms) death have been greatly exaggerated.

Laura will agree to help Robert prove that Holly’s still alive, but she’ll fret about the possibility of Robert setting himself up for disappointment.

Next, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will offer support to Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson). General Hospital spoilers say Valentin will have some words of wisdom to pass along. He’ll contend that nothing’s ever as ever as black and white as it looks on the surface.

Sasha could be a pregnancy contender, but it’s worth noting that the character who’ll receive this news is considered beloved. Does Sasha fit that description? Not really. Sasha is a character that’s well-liked by many people, but she’s not worthy of the beloved title.

We also know Sasha will resort to some reckless behavior on Thursday, which will likely involve more drugs and alcohol. Pregnancy news just doesn’t quite fit for Sasha in all that drama.

Moving on, let’s discuss Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and her big decision. Nina will tell Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) that she’s not sure she should stand up for Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier).

Jax doesn’t trust Nelle, so he may steer Nina in the direction of supporting Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) instead. Then again, Jax may simply urge Nina to trust her own judgment. Nina has to live with the choice she makes, so it’s important that she’s the one to make it.

In court, Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight) will ask Nelle why she feels she deserves sole custody. General Hospital spoilers say Nelle will give a performance to remember, so it sounds like we’re in for quite a show.

Nina should make her way over to the courthouse eventually and take the stand, so she’ll have to decide if she’s going to back Nelle up or turn against her. Nelle’s lucky charm necklace could certainly complicate that decision if it catches Nina’s eye!

Back with Valentin, he’ll have a huge announcement. That likely involves Valentin’s ELQ takeover, so the Quartermaines should face a major crisis. Valentin has been working hard to pull this off, and it seems the payoff has finally arrived.

As for the baby bombshell, GH obviously wants to preserve the surprise. This almost seems like something they tacked on for the sake of another last-minute shocker before new episodes run out. With that in mind, someone may pop up that’s not featured in the preview.

Whatever the case, General Hospital spoilers confirm this baby bomb will indeed drop on Thursday, so stay tuned to see who’s expecting a bundle of joy.
