General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Thursday, May 7, reveal that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) met on the pier with Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner). Sonny wondered how TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) was doing, and Curtis said that TJ’s memory of his kidnapping was sketchy, but that Mac Scorpio (John J. York) was making it his mission to find out who kidnapped TJ.
Jason noted that this put both TJ and Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) in danger. Sonny wondered when Jordan was arriving, and Curtis said that she wasn’t because she wasn’t ready to talk about what happens next.
Curtis then quizzed Sonny and Jason on when they were going to “handle” Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). Sonny said that he was waiting for the right moment to act. Curtis was miffed at the delay.
Meanwhile, at the Metro Court, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) joined Laura Collins (Genie Francis) at a table. Carly mentioned the custody hearing tomorrow, and Laura said that GH’s malpractice insurance may not cover the conspiracy that Nelle Benson Archer (Chloe Lanier) said happened.
Cyrus ambled over from the bar and overheard their conversation. “Now, that sounds dire,” Cyrus said.
Laura and Carly blasted Cyrus for eavesdropping, and Cyrus proceeded to sit down at the table and invite them both to his housewarming party. Both Carly and Laura declined, but Cyrus made it clear that he knew where to send their invitations. Cyrus left, and Laura took off, clearly rattled.
Later, Sonny walked in and Carly told him about her interaction with Cyrus. Carly wondered how much longer they have to endure Cyrus. Carly wondered if there was anything she should know about the situation, but Sonny said not for now. Carly asked when Sonny was going to end this thing with Cyrus, and Sonny said, “Sooner than our friend Cyrus thinks.”
Next, over at GH, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) rode the elevator together. Sasha still had a bloody nose from her run-in with Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) earlier.
Elsewhere, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) talked with Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen), apologizing for Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) actions. Finn nearly revealed that Chase and Sasha weren’t really having an affair, but then Sasha and Michael came out of the elevator.
Sasha went off with Finn to get her nose checked out, and Michael revealed to Willow that Brook Lynn “accidentally” punched Sasha. Willow wondered why Michael was the one who brought Sasha to GH, and Michael admitted that it was hard to turn off his feelings.
And in an exam room, Finn told Sasha that she and Chase should come clean with Michael and Willow. Sasha balked, saying that wouldn’t be best for Wiley Quartermaine Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson).
Elsewhere in the hospital, Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) talked with Portia Robinson (Brooke Kerr), and Portia realized that Trina was worried about her making it home safely. Portia said that they were both safe, and that the police were making Port Charles safe. Trina scoffed, saying that she didn’t trust Jordan.
Trina and Portia sat and talked, and Portia said that Trina’s dad would want her to move on from this and live her life rather than dwell on his past. Trina got upset and said that what her dad wanted was to stay and watch her grow up. Trina cried that it wasn’t fair, and Portia hugged her daughter tenderly.
Over at Jordan’s office, Mac came in saying he still had lots of questions about TJ’s kidnapping, and that he was hoping that Jordan could point him toward the answers. Mac wondered why the kidnappers used TJ’s phone to send Jordan messages. Jordan suggested that the kidnappers might have been biding their time.
Mac then said that there was no ransom demand, and so it was like the kidnappers wanted leverage. Mac asked Jordan if any demands were made of her, and Jordan lied and said no.
Mac said that if Jordan ever wanted to talk about anything, he’s there. Jordan said that there was nothing she hadn’t disclosed. Later, Curtis dropped by to see Jordan, and they decided to go to GH to see TJ.
Back at GH, Portia and Trina were finishing up their talk with Cyrus walked off the elevators. Trina rushed over to confront Cyrus, telling him that she knew who he was. Cyrus told Trina that he was sorry to hear about her father’s death. Just then, Curtis and Jordan rushed up and Curtis faced down Cyrus. “Back off,” Curtis said.
Cyrus drawled that they hadn’t been formally introduced, and Curtis said that Cyrus knew that he was Jordan’s husband. Curtis then told Cyrus to stay away from Trina and Portia, while Cyrus looked amused.
