General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Thursday, November 19, tease that Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will battle confusion. At the boxing gym, Maxie will talk to a shirtless Peter August (Wes Ramsey) either before or after his workout. Peter will have a lot on his mind, so Maxie won’t understand where all this worry is coming from.
Of course, Peter won’t come clean about his mountain of transgressions. Perhaps Peter will simply argue that the closer they get to the birth of their baby, the more concerned he becomes about whether he’ll be a good enough dad.
However, Maxie will remind Peter that he’s changed and is on a much better path now. Peter will get a pep talk and assure Maxie that everything’s fine, but he won’t be so sure deep down. There’s always going to be a threat of exposure, so Peter will have to live with that.
Over with Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan), she’ll have an awkward encounter with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna). Lulu will be headed to The Floating Rib – and she’ll guess she should ask Dante to join her. It looks like Dante will end up declining since Lulu will open up to Laura Spencer (Genie Francis) later.
Before we get to Lulu’s heart-to-heart with her mom, let’s talk about Laura’s problem. Laura obviously recognized that heavily redacted case from 40 years ago, but she lied to Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) about it not ringing a bell.
Once Laura left the house on Wilson Avenue, she placed a call to someone – and that someone was obviously Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) based on Thursday’s GH preview video.
Laura will tell Scott she found out something disturbing, so they’ll discuss Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) apparent attempt to dig up ancient history. This won’t work out well for Laura and Scott if Cyrus’ plan succeeds!
Lulu will show up eventually, so that’ll give her a chance to talk to Laura about her romantic dilemma. It’s clear that Lulu’s caught between her past and her present. Although Lulu has found a lovely spark with Dustin Philips (Mark Lawson), can it really compete with what she used to share with Dante?
Lulu will feel like she needs some help to figure out her future, so that’s where Laura comes in. Naturally, Laura will think on Lulu can decide where her heart should lead her.
General Hospital spoilers say Laura won’t see what the rush is. She’ll feel like Lulu has plenty of time to sort through her feelings, but that won’t turn out to be the case.
Lulu’s exit is rapidly approaching, so she won’t have a chance to pursue a future with Dustin or Dante. While GH marches toward inevitable doom for Lulu, Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) will try to help Julian Jerome (William deVry) survive.
At Charlie’s Pub, Ava will arrive and beg Julian to let Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) get him out of Port Charles.
Unfortunately, Cyrus has threatened Julian’s family as well, so that option won’t work for him. Julian will feel like he has no choice but to stick around and follow Cyrus’ deadly orders.
As for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), he’ll talk to Marcus Taggert (Real Andrews) about his Julian concerns. Sonny will argue that Julian has a history of not knowing what’s good for him. He doesn’t know that Julian’s already spilled the Taggert survival beans, but he’ll at least see the potential for it and try to plan ahead.
Next, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will grill Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) – apparently about this nasty war with Cyrus. “How long before this comes to an end?” Carly asks Jason in Thursday’s preview clip.
Jason will offer Carly reassurance and most likely insist they’ll do what they always do. Sonny and Jason have a way of taking care of any issue that comes up, but Cyrus has proven to be a big one.
At some point on Thursday, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will get in touch with Jason and ask him to put his family first – even if it’s just for the night. Sam will need Jason’s help, which will lead to some quality time between Jason and Danny Morgan (Porter Fasullo) once Friday rolls around.
Until then, General Hospital spoilers say Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will have too much to drink and lash out at Cyrus. GH fans can expect Alexis to really let Cyrus have it, so you can bet Cyrus won’t appreciate the outburst.
We’ll fill you in as other news and updates emerge. General Hospital spoilers say the excitement will grow as we build to Friday’s epic explosion cliffhanger! CDL will have tons of other General Hospital spoilers, updates and news for you, so be sure to make us your hotspot.
