General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Tristan Rogers (Robert Scorpio) is just as excited about GH fans when it comes to the show resuming production. The ABC soap got a step closer through some new guidelines released by California Governor Gavin Newsom. These guidelines indicate that the music, film and TV industry will be allowed to reopen starting June 12.
Of course, there are a lot of safety requirements and rules to follow. There’ll be many approval layers to get through, so it could be a bit longer before General Hospital can get up and running again. Things are particularly up in the air in L.A. County, but these guidelines and start date are still fantastic signs about the return of soaps.
That brings us to Tristan Rogers’ tweets about General Hospital making a comeback. “OK I think I’m lighting a fire here but I tend to do that,” Rogers admitted on Twitter. “Production has been ok’d for June 12. And awwwaaaayyyywwweeee go.”
However, Rogers’ first tweet about production resuming resulted in some confusion among GH fans. They weren’t sure if Rogers meant the industry as a whole or if General Hospital had actually been given the green light to resume filming. Rogers decided to clarify in a follow-up tweet, so let’s look at that one, too.
“This is for production in general,” Rogers said. “Maybe I should have said that. But…..GH is part of that.” Even though there’s no confirmation on the exact date General Hospital will resume, Rogers just wanted to share his joy over the news and offer updates to anyone out of the loop.
It didn’t take long for thrilled General Hospital fans to reply with support. “Still good news. Things are moving in the right direction!” one fan insisted. Another GH viewer said, “Cannot wait for GH to return!! Been watching since ‘81 and it feels like something is missing from my life.” “Great news,” said one more fan. “I’ve been watching for 50 years. All actors will be glad to get back to their craft.”
Once the details are eventually locked in for the cast and crew to get back on set, we’ll be sure to let you know! General Hospital spoilers say there’ll be more thrilling classics in the meantime, so keep watching. CDL’s where you want to be for terrific General Hospital spoilers, updates and news.
