General Hospital Spoilers: Tuesday, April 28 Recap – Cyrus Plans Jason’s Murder – Charlotte Desperate Plea – Sam Threatens Brando

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Tuesday, April 28, reveal that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) continued their tense meeting on the pier. Sonny was hostile, and he told Cyrus that he should crawl back into the hole he came from, otherwise there would be a war. Cyrus refused to return to Seattle, and Sonny walked away, but Cyrus stopped him with a counteroffer.

Cyrus agreed not to threaten Sonny’s turf or his family, and he said that their businesses wouldn’t interfere with each other. Sonny wondered why Cyrus wanted roots in Port Charles, and Cyrus said that he craved a home somewhere quiet and friendly. Jason Morgan

(Steve Burton) pointed out Cyrus’ sniper watching them from a rooftop. Sonny was peeved, and Cyrus signaled to the sniper to stand down. Sonny then said that he had a one-time offer – that Cyrus can live in Port Charles but not move his product through Sonny’s territory. Cyrus balked at first, but then said they had a deal. Sonny and Cyrus shook on it.

Meanwhile, at Lulu Spencer’s (Emme Rylan) place, she and Laura Collins (Genie Francis) discussed Laura’s belief that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) was going to give up Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez). Laura explained her conversation with Valentin and said that he sounded like he was going to walk away for Charlotte’s own good.

At that moment, Charlotte stood at the doorway and overheard the conversation. Charlotte was horrified as Laura said that something must have happened for Valentin to think that Charlotte was better off without him. Charlotte then left, and Lulu and Laura continued to argue about whether Valentin would really walk away from his daughter.

At Crimson, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) canoodled in the office, talking briefly about how Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) had cheated on Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). Jax wondered if Nina still missed Sasha, and Nina said that she missed who Sasha was supposed to be.

Nina and Jax were kissing when Charlotte ran in, all upset. “Go away! Leave Nina alone!” Charlotte cried. Nina rushed over to Charlotte, who said that Nina and her papa needed to get back together and that she needs to see her papa today.

Nina tried to tell Charlotte that she and Jax cared for each other, but Charlotte protested and told Nina that Valentin was going to leave her.

Down at the Metro Court, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) talked with Valentin at the bar. Valentin confided that he had recently concluded that Charlotte was better off without him, and Alexis listened. Talk then turned to what was bothering Alexis, but she said only that she had made a mistake and might lose her law license.

Valentin tried to encourage Alexis, saying that she was more than her job. Alexis noted that he was starting to almost like Valentin. Valentin’s phone then rang – it was Nina saying that Charlotte was at Crimson and was upset. Valentin took off.

Back up at Crimson, Jax was busy talking to an unamused Charlotte about fathers’ love for their daughters when Valentin showed up. Charlotte ran into Valentin’s arms, and they shared a moment alone. Valentin asked Charlotte why she thought he didn’t want her anymore, and Charlotte said, “Because you don’t love me anymore.” Valentin was visibly torn up over this.

Charlotte went on to explain that she had heard Laura and Lulu talking and that they said Valentin wanted to leave her. Valentin said that he’d never want to leave her, but that he didn’t want her making the same mistakes he made. Charlotte begged her dad to take her somewhere. “I know you’re leaving – I know you are,” Charlotte cried. “Please take me wherever you’re going!”

While all this was going on, Nina called Lulu, who had just realized that Charlotte was missing. Nina relayed that Charlotte was at Crimson, but that she was upset, and that Valentin was with her. Lulu took off for Crimson.

Back down at the Metro Court, Jax joined Alexis at the bar and noted that he needed Alexis’ level head for something. He said that he had just left Valentin alone with Nina and Charlotte, and that Charlotte was under the impression that Valentin was going to leave her. Alexis confided that Valentin had apparently made some decisions about his future.

Over near the elevators, Cyrus walked in with his right-hand man. The right-hand man noted that his meeting with Sonny earlier was too easy, and Cyrus said, “Wasn’t it? Sonny thinks I’ll lower my guard and he’ll go in for the kill. Unfortunately for Mr. Corinthos, I don’t play by the rules.” The right-hand man asked what Cyrus was going to do, and Cyrus said, “We start by getting rid of Jason Morgan.”

Meanwhile, back at the pier, Jason and Sonny discussed the meeting. Sonny said that he was letting Cyrus buy time, and that “when Cyrus stops looking for me out of the corner of his eye, I’m going to take him out.”

At Charlie’s Pub, Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Lexi Ainsworth) told Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos) that she was proud of her for sleeping with Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor). Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) said that it was just one night, and she asked Molly if she still wanted to be with TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) – Molly said a resounding yes.

Sam offered to go pick up Molly’s car for her at Brando’s garage, and Molly insisted that Sam not say anything to Brando about any of this. After Sam left, Kristina and Molly talked, and Molly decided that she needed to be completely honest with TJ and tell him everything that happened.

Over at Brando’s garage, TJ noticed that the invoice for service on Molly’s car was too low, and Brando said that all first-time customers get a discount. TJ thanked Brando for not taking advantage of Molly or doing unnecessary work on her car.

Brando then mentioned TJ’s injuries and hospitalization, and TJ wanted to know how Brando knew about his ordeal. Brando covered, saying he had seen Molly at Charlie’s Pub earlier.

TJ was leaving as Sam was arriving at the garage. Once TJ left, Sam told Brando that he came into town with baggage and not to dump any of it onto Molly. Sam told Brando to forget about that night, and to forget about Molly. Brando explained that he didn’t know Molly had a boyfriend when they got together.

Sam then asked Brando what he wanted, and he replied, “to run my garage.” Sam warned Brando that if he tried to make trouble with Molly, then she’d make trouble for him.

At Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) apartment, Chase thought about Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) but was interrupted by a knock on the door. It was Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton), wondering why Chase had disappeared from Violet Barnes’ (Jophielle Love) birthday party.

Finn sensed something was going on, and finally Chase told his brother the phony story about how he cheated on Willow with Sasha.

Finn then said that it was the biggest load of crap he’d ever heard, and that he wanted to know what really happened. Chase protested, but finally Finn got the truth out of Chase – that Chase and Sasha were pretending to have an affair so that Willow would marry Michael. Finn was stunned.
