General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Tuesday, December 1, reveal that Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) spoke with Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) at the hospital. Maxie said that she heard about Dev Corbin aka Dev Cerci (Ashton Arbab) and that she was sorry.
Meanwhile, over at the nurses’ hub, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) demanded information from Portia Robinson (Brooke Kerr) about Lulu Spencer’s (Emme Rylan) condition. Portia cited patient confidentiality and walked off.
In Lulu’s room, Dante Falconeri (Dominick Zamprogna) and Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) held vigil, while Laura Collins (Genie Francis) looked in from outside the window.
Laura flashed back to Lulu being a little baby, and then Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) and Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) approached. Tracy said that she hadn’t been able to reach Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary).
Elsewhere, Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) talked about going to visit Lulu’s room. Charlotte was afraid of visiting her mother, but Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) showed up for support. Nina told Charlotte that she had backup, and they hugged supportively.
On Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) private plane, Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) were on their way to Mexico City.
As it turned out, the medical equipment in the house in Oregon was manufactured by a company in Mexico, so Jordan and Curtis were going to check the place out. As they were flying, Curtis got a call from Portia to tell him about what happened to Lulu.
Back at the hospital, Maxie approached Cyrus, who offered his well-wishes for Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson). Maxie wanted to know what happened to Sasha, and Brando explained that she overdosed. Maxie said that she needed to go see Sasha.
Elsewhere, Nina, Charlotte, and Valentin talked, and Nina agreed to go with Charlotte to Lulu’s room. When Nina and Charlotte walked off, Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) ambled up to Valentin and mused that it was funny how things ended up for Lulu just like Valentin hoped.
Valentin didn’t appreciate that remark, and Martin kept pressing the issue. Valentin promptly fired Martin and walked away.
Outside of Lulu’s room, Portia gathered Nikolas, Dante, Kevin, Tracy, and Laura together and said that the team from the long-term care facility in Manhattan was coming to transfer Lulu. Laura realized that it was time for them all to say goodbye, and she and Kevin walked away to go talk with the facility people.
As Laura and Kevin were headed that way, they encountered Maxie and told her that Lulu was being transferred to the care facility. Maxie rushed off, and Cyrus stepped up to Laura, who was not happy to see him.
Cyrus went on about how sorry he was to hear about Lulu, and rage started welling up within Laura, who promptly slapped Cyrus.
Kevin intervened, and Laura raged at Cyrus, saying that Mac Scorpio (John J. York) told her that the explosion was a bombing and if it traces back to him, then nothing will stop her from taking him off this earth.
“Do what you must – no one’s ever stopped you before,” Cyrus said. Laura rushed off with Kevin, while Martin watched the whole exchange from afar, looking quite interested.
In Lulu’s room, various people took their turns sitting with Lulu and saying emotional goodbyes, including Tracy, Nikolas, Charlotte, Valentin, and Maxie.
Later, Dante said his goodbye, telling Lulu that he now knows that the ones left behind suffer the most, and that he was sorry for making her feel like that. Sobbing, Dante said that he’d wait for Lulu and he begged her to come back to him.
Over near the nurses’ hub, Cyrus rudely dismissed Brando for the rest of the day, still upset from his exchange with Laura earlier. Brando walked off, and Martin approached Cyrus. “You certainly know how to clear a room,” Martin drawled. “The mayor didn’t seem convinced by your deepest sympathies act.”
Cyrus didn’t seem to appreciate Martin’s words, saying that he didn’t recall asking for Martin’s opinion. “Tell me Cyrus,” Martin said. “After all these years, have you ever known me to wait to be called upon?” Cyrus just stared back at Martin.
At the Corinthos house, Sonny and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) talked about Julian Jerome (William deVry), and Sonny said that Julian has pushed him too far. Jason suggested that they stick with going after Cyrus, but Sonny disagreed, saying that Julian needed to pay.
Jason also suggested that they keep Julian alive for information, but Sonny said that they’d get info from Julian, then kill him. Jason and Sonny took off for Wyndemere.
At Wyndemere, Julian asked Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) what she was going to do with the gun she was holding. Ava said that she wasn’t sure, but she knew that people were dead because of the bomb that Julian planted. Julian argued that Cyrus deceived him, and Ava ranted that Julian could have run.
After a considerable amount of arguing, Julian said that he’d leave, and Ava pointed the gun at him and said that he wouldn’t go anywhere. Julian wondered what Ava would tell Jason, and she said she’d tell Jason the truth – that when she learned the full truth, she shot him.
Julian protested, saying that he was family. “So is Nikolas,” Ava said. “You’re choosing Nikolas over your own brother?” Julian asked incredulously.
“Yes, because I love him,” Ava said. Ava said that both Cyrus and Sonny wanted him dead, and that she’d be quick ad merciful, but they wouldn’t be. Ava took Julian by gunpoint out to the parapet, where it was raining and storming, and she ordered him to kneel.
Julian didn’t, instead standing and looking out at the water.
“Anything you’d like me to tell your children?” Ava asked. Julian said to tell his kids that he loves them and to go with their heart when making difficult decisions. Julian added that he was sorry that he caused his kids pain. “Goodbye, Julian,” Ava said, while Julian noted dryly that they were both going to the same place.
Suddenly, Sonny and Jason rushed onto the parapet, and Julian took the opportunity to jump off the ledge. Sonny, Jason, and Ava all looked over the ledge but couldn’t see Julian.
While Jason went to look for Julian’s body, Sonny asked Ava if she knew what her brother did. Ava explained everything and how when she found out what he did, she came back here to kill Julian herself.
“I wanted it to be quick by someone who loved him,” Ava said, adding that she had to protect the innocent and that Julian’s children were a little safer now. “You know this isn’t over,” Sonny said. “It’s over for me!” Ava insisted. Jason returned and said there was no sign of Julian anywhere outside.
In Mexico, Curtis and Jordan went into the medical facility and conned the receptionist and a security guard into giving Curtis a tour of the facility. Jordan, who was pretending to be Curtis’ naïve assistant, stayed in the reception area and downloaded files off of the computer there.
Curtis, the receptionist, and the security guard returned, and Jordan and Curtis left.
Once they were back on the private plane and headed back to Port Charles, Jordan checked the files that she downloaded from the facility’s computer. As it turned out Cyrus had an account with the company…and a patient whose last name was Grey.
Back at the Corinthos house, Sonny and Jason returned and talked about Julian being gone. Jason asked what if Julian survived that fall, and Sonny said if that’s true, he’ll make sure Julian wishes he were dead. Viewers then saw Julian lying unconscious on the ground in the area outside Wyndemere.
Back at the hospital, Lulu’s family stood in the hallway waiting for Lulu to be transported to the facility in Manhattan. Ava showed up and took Nikolas’ hand.
Laura sat by Lulu’s bedside crying and telling her daughter that her body needed to rest. “You rest, but don’t sleep too long,” Laura said through tears. “Fight your way back to me please. When you go, you take my heart with you.”
Soon, the crew brought Lulu out in her bed to transport her out of the hospital. Laura walked with Lulu to the elevator, and once the elevator doors shut, Laura broke down in Kevin’s arms.
