General Hospital Spoilers: Tuesday, December 22 – Carly & Jason Finding Sonny – Ava Grieves for Julian – Tracy’s Outburst

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Tuesday, December 22, tease that Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) will bring someone up to speed over the phone. Robert will invite someone to sit back and let him fill her in – and it looks like the person on the other end will be Jackie Templeton (Kim Delaney).

GH fans can expect Robert and Jackie to reconnect in Tuesday’s episode, so it seems they’ll do it over a phone call.

Meanwhile, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) will put her foot down with Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth). “No way in hell!” Tracy declares in Tuesday’s preview video.

Perhaps Ned will want to help Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) out of her latest legal jam or at least pay her a visit. Of course, Tracy won’t want Ned anywhere near the woman he cheated with.

At the PCPD, Alexis will remain in lockup as Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) swoops in and tries to help. Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will also be on hand as Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) suggests he’ll back them on their latest plan.

Diane and Sam may consider leaving Alexis behind bars as a lesson or as a way to ensure she’s safe and off the roads.

However, that’d be awfully cruel since Christmas is coming up. It looks like Diane or Sam may make an offer to Alexis instead. “You’re gonna let me go home with you?” Alexis asks one of them in Tuesday’s GH promo. Since Alexis was set up by Tracy, it’s nice to know she’ll at least get out on bail for the holidays!

Other General Hospital spoilers say Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) will be perplexed by Liesl Obrecht’s (Kathleen Gati) take on his situation. As Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) stands nearby, Franco will wonder if Liesl really thinks it’s a coincidence.

Since Obrecht won’t want to tip Franco off to her Peter August (Wes Ramsey) takedown plot, she’ll have to be careful. It sounds like Franco will be puzzled as Liesl manipulates him and steers him wherever she wants him to go.

A new scheme will form on Tuesday – one Liesl hopes will score her incriminating info on Peter from Drew Cain’s (Billy Miller) memories.

Over with Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton), he’ll have a big admission to make. Finn doesn’t feel like he can keep the truth inside anymore and is ready to come clean to Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).

The doc wants Anna to know why he was estranged from his family all those years, so they’ll continue their conversation on Tuesday.

“I’ve never told this to anyone,” Finn confesses on Tuesday’s GH preview clip. Will Finn really admit that he slept with Jackie the night before her wedding to Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison)? We’ll have to wait and see, but Anna will listen intently and try to give Finn all the support he needs.

Next, it looks like Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will carry out another desperate search for missing Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

Carly will get updates on everything that went down and start to panic eventually, but Jason will give her a warning. “The only way this works is if we take it one step at a time,” Jason insists in Tuesday’s promo.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like Jason and Carly will find Sonny anytime soon. General Hospital spoilers suggest this is the beginning of an amnesia storyline for Sonny, so that’s what this vanishing act will lead to. Sonny will have to find his way home himself based on the latest GH buzz.

Finally, Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) will grieve the loss of Julian Jerome (William deVry). Following the news of Julian’s confirmed death, Ava will lean on Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma).

Nikolas will be a great source of comfort for Ava as she mourns her brother and tries to look to the future.
