General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Friday, August 28, teases that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will have a sudden burst of fear and anger. As Dante continues to battle his programming and PTSD, he’ll lunge at a WSB staff member.
The doctors there just want to help Dante, but he just feels like everyone would be better off without him. Dante’s involuntary outburst won’t do anything to change his mind!
It may take a visit from Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) to convince Dante there’s hope. Luckily, it looks like that visit is coming up next week. In the meantime, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will arrive at the cabin and find out Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson) is safe.
That’ll be a relief, but Sonny will still wonder where Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier) is.
Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will probably reveal how he tricked Nelle into making a break for it. In that moment, Michael had to concentrate on getting Nelle away from Wiley. Of course, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) couldn’t stand the thought of Nelle hanging over them like a threat.
If Carly actually thought Nelle would disappear, she could’ve left it alone. However, Carly was convinced Nelle would come back and cause more problems. That led to Carly’s heated confrontation with Nelle – and eventually, Nelle fell over the side of the cliff.
Since Carly was unable to pull Nelle back up, she’ll have bit of a meltdown when Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) finds her. Carly may assure Jax that she truly tried to save Nelle. Although Jax will believe Carly’s side of the story, will everyone else? Jax and Carly may fear it’ll seem like vengeful Carly hurled Nelle to her death.
As a result, Carly and Jax will find themselves keeping a huge secret – just the two of them. It sounds like Jax will help Carly distance herself from Nelle’s fate. Carly might argue that Nelle simply vanished. She might lie that after Nelle got physical, she never caught up with her again.
Regardless, Carly and Jax are going to set themselves up with deception on Friday. As for Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), he’ll have deception on his mind as well. Curtis will want to have an important discussion with Portia Robinson (Sydney Mikayla). He’ll talk about how the one thing he can’t ignore is dishonesty, so this will set up some apologetic words from Portia.
Curtis wasn’t happy about Portia misleading him about the situation with Marcus Taggert (Real Andrews). Since Curtis inadvertently led to the destruction of Taggert and Portia’s marriage, which she failed to mention before. Portia will be sorry for not being completely honest with Curtis, but he may wonder if she’s still hiding things.
There’s a good chance Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) is Curtis’ biological daughter, so will he give Portia another opportunity to confess? Even if he does, it doesn’t look like Portia will make a big admission like that on Friday. The truth should come out sooner or later, but GH fans will have to be patient.
At the Quartermaine mansion, Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) will get updates from the cops. Wiley’s fine, so that should put Willow’s mind at ease. Meanwhile, Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) will deal with Jason’s questions and concerns. Jason’s upset about the Taggert survival secret, so he expects Jordan to explain.
Jordan will do just that on Friday’s GH episode – and she’ll get the latest news on the Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) drama, too. Jason will note that Cyrus wants to take him out so he can get to Sonny. The danger’s revving up, so Jordan may think they all have to be careful and stay on the same side.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will ask Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) how things went with Neil Byrne (Joe Flanigan). She’ll hope Alexis didn’t turn Neil away and do her best to push these two together. There’s nothing keeping Neil and Alexis apart now that their careers are over.
