General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Friday, September 4, tease that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) will rush to the garage. An attack is in progress, so it’s important for the gang to save Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) as soon as possible. It’s lucky that Jason installed that surveillance camera since it helped alert them to trouble.
Unfortunately, Brando should be battered, bruised and bloody by the time Jason and the others arrive. Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) thugs will leave Brando in need of urgent medical attention, which Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) will provide at GH.
After Portia examines Brando and patches him up, Sam will ask about him. She’ll want updates on Brando’s status – and so will Jason, who’ll be standing next to her. Brando’s going to be OK, but the threat of Cyrus will linger.
If there’s a silver lining to this attack, it’s that Brando will probably come clean about the offer he turned down. Brando rejected Cyrus’ proposition about being his chauffeur, so maybe he can confess to Jason and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
That could lead to the realization that Cyrus’ goon had an opportunity to make some nefarious bike adjustments – which is exactly what happened.
As for Spinelli, there’ll be some tension as he speaks with Peter August (Wes Ramsey). Peter will confront Spinelli and urge him to spill what’s on his mind. Since Peter knows what Spinelli thinks of him, he won’t see the need for polite small talk.
If Spinelli has something to say, he should say it – at least that’s how Peter will feel about it.
Of course, Spinelli should try to hold back for now. There’ll undoubtedly be some veiled threats and insults, but Spinelli would be better off keeping his mouth shut about the plot to bring Peter down. The less Peter knows, the more likely it becomes that Spin can sink him!
Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) is having Peter’s baby, so Spinelli and Peter may agree they’d both do anything for Maxie and her child. That might seem like common ground on the surface, but it could really be an ominous promise instead!
Peter will turn to Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) for advice about fatherhood at some point. Valentin isn’t going to win any father of the year awards, but he does love Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) – and she loves him in return. Peter will view Valentin as someone who was able to overcome a sinister history and still be a respectable dad.
That’s what Peter wants, so he’ll hope for some papa pointers in Friday’s General Hospital episode. As for Valentin, he’ll be in high demand since Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will want to speak with him, too. Anna will be looking for some backup since she plans to meet with Alex Devane-Marick (Finola Hughes) in Berlin.
Valentin should understand why Anna doesn’t want to walk into this alone, but he may suggest taking Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) instead. Valentin’s got a lot on his plate now that he’s on the ELQ throne. Joining Anna may not be what Valentin has in mind. Anna will do her best to sell Valentin on the idea, so we’ll see if she gets what she wants.
Finn’s not an option since he doesn’t support Anna’s mission, but he’ll give Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) the support she needs on Friday. Alexis will be battling some tough emotions over Neil Byrne’s (Joe Flanigan) death, so she has to let all those emotions pour out.
Finn will encourage Alexis to admit the worst part of Neil’s passing. Alexis hates that she’ll always have to wonder what they could’ve been together, so that may be something she brings up. The fact that Neil was such a good match for Alexis will sting, too.
Alexis feels like her love life is doomed, so things are really crashing down for her. Perhaps a distraction’s ahead thanks to Neil’s autopsy report. Alexis expects it to be something like a heart attack or some other common medical issue, but she may be in for a surprise.
Neil’s death feels a bit suspicious, so the autopsy report might point in the direction of murder!
Next, TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) will blast Cyrus at GH. He’ll refuse to shake Cyrus’ hand and will even suggest he’d prefer to spit on it. Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos) will seem freaked out as TJ goes up against Cyrus, who’s clearly a force to be reckoned with. TJ could be playing a very dangerous game.
Meanwhile, Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) will be impressed after Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) sets the mood for romance. Curtis will have a surprise spread for his love, so they’ll eat, drink and be merry.
However, Jordan will be a bit perplexed by the reason for all this. Curtis doesn’t need a reason to dote on his wife, but he may have a couple of them anyway. Calling a Cyrus timeout should certainly be one of them.
Curtis may also sense that there’s been some distance between them lately. This might be Curtis’ attempt to reconnect and pull Jordan closer again.
Unfortunately, the distance should remain as long as Jordan’s keeping secrets from Curtis. This couple will face more problems this fall, so stay tuned for hot GH drama. As other news rolls in, we’ll fill you in.
