General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Monday, August 10, teases that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will want the whole truth. After Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) answers Curtis’ questions, he won’t seem certain she’s been completely honest.
Curtis will wonder if there’s something Jordan’s leaving out, but she’ll probably insist there’s nothing else.
However, Jordan just came from a tense meeting with Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). Cyrus has made it clear that Jordan’s loved ones are at risk, so there’s a lot at stake here.
Jordan has to keep playing by Cyrus’ rules – or at least keep pretending to until Cyrus can be taken out of the picture. Out of fear for Curtis and TJ Ashford’s (Tajh Bellow) safety, Jordan may want to keep any further Cyrus details to herself.
Next, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will be pleased by how his ELQ plans are going. Valentin’s closing in on a victory, so he’ll be able to take over the company if all goes well. Once Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) shows up behind Valentin on Monday, he’ll sense that Valentin’s plotting something.
Nikolas will take jabs about people needing to watch their backs and wallets, which is good advice whenever Valentin’s involved! Unfortunately, Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) doesn’t realize Valentin’s behind this hostile takeover attempt.
Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Briana Lane) knows about Valentin’s scheme, but she’s not talking due to their deal.
Ned’s going to find out what Valentin’s up to sooner or later, but Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) could throw him off the trail. GH fans know Lulu recently sparred with Cyrus and she’s about to do it again.
Monday’s episode will bring another round of Lulu’s shouting and Cyrus’ smug comments. It won’t be long until Lulu spots Nelle and passes along what she believes is useful information.
Will Lulu think Cyrus is after ELQ? Since Cyrus has vowed to control the hospital, Lulu might suspect he plans to use ELQ as part of his scheme. After all, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) went to ELQ in an attempt to shut Cyrus down.
ELQ’s support is crucial to saving General Hospital, so Lulu may think Cyrus is trying to eliminate their lifeline.
Valentin is obviously the real culprit here, but he may keep slipping under the radar for now. Over with Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), they’ll have another argument.
It appears Liz will have to skip Ava Cassadine’s (Maura West) portrait unveiling, so Franco will be bummed. Franco wants Liz by his side at this event, but Liz may contend that she’s busy.
That may be true since Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) was brought in with serious injuries and is now facing an exploratory procedure. Liz probably won’t want to bail when things are still so up in the air, but Franco may think this is about Nikolas.
From Franco’s perspective, he’ll probably feel like Nikolas is poisoning Liz against him.
Next, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will confront Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor). Cyrus paid Brando a visit to discuss something, but the matter was talked about off screen. Brando’s been acting a bit nervous about whatever he’s leaving out, so Sonny may start to notice.
Plus, Brando just fixed Jason’s motorcycle up with a new stabilizer before Jason got out on the road. Sonny may worry that Brando sabotaged Jason’s bike, but did he really?
GH seemingly wants us to think Brando was behind Jason’s crash, but this may involve some misdirection. Perhaps Brando talked to Cyrus about something else entirely and fixed the bike just like he said.
Nevertheless, it’s easy to see why Brando would face suspicions under the circumstances – particularly since Jason’s had reservations about Brando from the start.
Sam McCall (Lindsay Hartley) will deal with her own suspicions on Monday, so we should see Sam do some digging soon. As the weekly preview video below shows, Brando will vigorously deny sabotaging Jason’s motorcycle
In the meantime, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) may come back with exploratory procedure news. It seems likely Jason’s faced some damage that’ll be hard to recover from. Jason’s probably going to be in a coma for a while, so Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) may eventually have to decide whether to pull the plug!
Across town, Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) is in for a shock. Someone surprising will show up to visit Willow, so we’ll see if that might be her mom, Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel), or another unexpected Port Charles resident.
Back with Nikolas, he’ll admit to Ava that he heard back from Spencer Cassadine (Nicolas Bechtel). However, Nikolas will hold off on revealing Spencer’s response.
Did Spencer accept that Nik would lose the Cassadine fortune if he divorced Ava? Did Spencer come to grips with the marriage and push Nikolas to stay married instead? Ava will be curious, but she’ll have to wait for the answer.
As for Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier) and Julian Jerome (William deVry), they’ll be joined by Ava at the Metro Court. Ava will trade barbs with her new sister-in-law and wonder about the details of Nelle’s blackmail scheme.
Of course, Nelle might fire back that Ava’s marriage isn’t exactly true love. They’re two peas in a pod when it comes to marrying men who would’ve rather stayed single!
We’ll pass along updates as other GH news pops up. General Hospital spoilers say some stunning developments are in store, so be sure to stop by CDL often. There’ll be plenty more General Hospital spoilers, news and updates to read up on.
