General Hospital Spoilers Update: Monday, May 25 – Nathan Upsets Levi – Liesl’s Cabaret Surprise – Britt & Brad’s TV Bonding

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Monday, May 25, teases that the drama will heat up in this Nurses Ball classic from 2014. GH viewers will see some stunning confessions, fierce showdowns and big surprises! Here’s what you can look forward to according to General Hospital spoilers.

For starters, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) gets some news on Ava Jerome (Maura West), who’s safely landed at his private island. Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) confirms it before questioning Sonny about not being dressed for the Nurses Ball. Sonny doesn’t plan to go since Olivia Falconeri (Lisa LoCicero) found out about his betrayal with Ava.

Shawn feels like Sonny should make an effort and show Olivia he’s not giving up on her. If Sonny intends to salvage things with Olivia, Shawn thinks he should fight for her.

Next, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) is feeling down in the dumps as she lounges in her robe. Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) finds Britt moping with a tub of ice cream and notices she’s watching the garbage red carpet event.

However, Brad starts watching and is quickly drawn in. While Britt and Brad stay glued to the TV, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) faces Nathan West’s (Ryan Paevey) suspicions. Nathan realizes Maxie’s looking at her Nurses Ball invite despite deciding not to go.

Maxie blames her moment of contemplation on the destroyed trees and squandered money. Nathan feels like Maxie’s just repeating what Levi Dunkleman (Zachary Garred) would say. Maxie denies that, but she gets caught up in remembering how fun the Nurses Ball can be.

After Maxie realizes she’s let her guard down too much, she assures Nathan that she’s cool with a quiet evening at home with Levi. Nathan shares some kind parting words before leaving.

Meanwhile, Spencer Cassadine (Nicolas Bechtel) interrogates Nikolas Cassadine (Tyler Christopher) about his feelings for Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst). Spencer points out that Nik looks at Liz like he wants to marry her.

Nikolas is surprised by Spencer’s observation and promptly shuts it down. His eyes suggest Spencer’s right when Liz walks in and shows off her dress for the Nurses Ball.

Nikolas pays Liz a compliment and hopes she’ll have fun at the event, which she’s attending with Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst). When Liz notes that Nikolas could change his mind about going, he insists on remaining at Wyndemere with Spencer.

Meanwhile, Cameron Webber (Michael Leone) and Spencer push each other’s buttons. Spencer suggests Cam will choke under the pressure when it’s time for his performance. Cam notes that Spencer will have to watch the Nurses Ball on TV in his pajamas. Once Cam’s gone, Spencer says they’ll see about that.

In Lucy Coe’s (Lynn Herring) dressing room, she talks to Felicia Jones (Kristina Wagner) about Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner). Although Lucy’s struggling since she misses Scott, she’s glad she ended things. Felicia agrees it was the right thing to do since Lucy loves Kevin and doesn’t want to screw up their relationship.

Lucy’s relieved that Kevin didn’t find out what she was hiding, but Kevin approaches and wonders what she means. Felicia jumps in and claims Lucy had a surprise performance in store for Kevin, so he’s thrilled.

Lucy tries to wiggle out of it since it’s no longer a surprise, but Kevin argues that he doesn’t know what kind of number she’ll be doing.

Once Lucy’s alone with Felicia, she lashes out over Felicia getting her into this mess. Felicia has confidence in Lucy’s ability to get creative. On the red carpet, Olivia has some orders for a reporter. Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) appears and gets an earful, which goes on the air. Olivia isn’t pleased since she wasn’t given the heads-up.

After Olivia flees to avoid answering a question about Sonny, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) stumbles and falls right on the red carpet. Silas Clay (Michael Easton) manages to get Sam back on her feet and doesn’t think Sam should worry since no one’s watching the show anyway.

Back with Brad and Britt, they find Sam’s fall hilarious and hit the replay button to enjoy it fully.

Ned Ashton (Wally Kurth) is pulled over to be Olivia’s escort in Sonny’s place, which brings some swirling suspicions and questions on the red carpet. Olivia taunts Sonny by threatening to reveal why she’s not attending with him, but he advises Olivia not to go public with a personal matter.

Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Lulu Falconeri (Emme Rylan) usher Olivia away from reporters so she won’t spill.

Later, Dante demands to know what’s going on, so Sonny admits he cheated on Olivia. He assures Dante that it meant nothing, but Dante’s perhaps even more horrified by that.

Dante’s outraged over Sonny breaking Olivia’s heart over a hookup that didn’t even matter to him. Sonny isn’t willing to reveal who he slept with, but Dante points out that this isn’t over.

Once Felix DuBois (Marc Anthony Samuel) runs into Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes), they agree to strut their stuff on the red carpet together since each of them’s flying solo. Brad looks glum when he sees them onscreen together while watching with Britt. As for Britt, she takes note of Liz attending with Ric instead of Nikolas.

Nathan is dressed to impress, so he wows the reporter and that annoys Levi as he watches with Maxie. Levi’s full of complaints about this red-carpet nonsense anyway, but he eventually stuns Maxie by suggesting they should head to the Nurses Ball after all.

Lucy seems uncomfortable and a little jealous when Scott shows up at the Nurses Ball with Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman). Kevin pulls Lucy aside to grill her about how tense she seems, but Lucy downplays it.

Back with Spencer, he’s irritated over Cam’s on-air shoutout about Spencer not being able to make it. Spencer fumes as Cameron says to save him a slice of pizza.

After Spencer gets a text of Cam having a blast with Emma Scorpio-Drake, he decides to convince Nikolas that they should attend the event. Over with Cam again, he lies to Emma when she asks if sent the pic to Spencer. Emma’s glad Cameron didn’t since she wanted to go with him because he’s a nice guy.

Once Lucy gives her usual intro, the welcome song begins as the Nurses Ball kickoff. Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) ultimately turns it into her own cabaret performance – complete with skimpy outfits and backup dancers. Lucy’s confused and annoyed, but Liesl feels her version is the better one.

Once Liesl’s wild performance comes to an end, she eagerly awaits applause that doesn’t come. Brad and Britt’s eyes are bugging out over the whole thing as they continue watching at home. GH fans will want to tune in for this fun encore episode!
