General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Monday, November 16, teases that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will have a mission for Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight) – one that won’t be easy to pull off.
Valentin’s recent near-death experience convinced him to make some big changes, so we’ll learn more about those on Monday’s episode.
In the event Valentin dies, he’ll want to make sure Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) gets custody of Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) instead of Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan).
Although Valentin doesn’t have the power to take Charlotte from Lulu, he’ll suggest he has the power to offer Charlotte a “fairy godmother” with full legal rights to her – and that’s where Martin comes in.
While Valentin fills Martin in on his plan, Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) will continue his pitch to Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Briana Lane). Ned’s really hoping that Brook Lynn will skip that bus ride and move back in the Quartermaine mansion, so he’ll reiterate that he was wrong.
Brook Lynn seemed to be considering it, but things are a bit up in the air when it comes to how much longer Briana Lane will air. It’s possible Brook Lynn will compromise and agree to stick around through the holidays or something along those lines.
Then again, maybe Brook Lynn will decide leaving is just the right move for her.
Whatever the case, Lane’s been dropping some hints that suggest the end is near – at least for her version of the character. Amanda Setton will reclaim the role of Brook Lynn eventually, so General Hospital may be setting up a temporary exit so that the switch isn’t so jarring.
As for Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor), he’ll have some chaos to deal with over at Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) apartment. Brando barged in again following Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattsson) drug-related cardiac episode.
Sasha needs medical attention right away, but Cyrus won’t want this incident connected to him.
Brando won’t think they can just let Sasha die, but Cyrus may insist that Brando should do what he’s told. He probably won’t be happy that Brando was hanging around after being told to leave anyway.
It appears Sasha wind up unconscious in an alley, so Brando will call Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) for advice on how to handle this curveball.
One way or another, Sasha will get the treatment she needs. She’ll survive this ordeal, but Brando will undoubtedly raise suspicions with Cyrus. Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will get updates on a plan of Cyrus’ on Monday as well.
Jason will insist that “Cyrus gave himself a building full of hostages,” so this may link to the baddie’s GH agenda.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will throw in the towel when it comes to finding her biological daughter. Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) will point out that they know a lot more thanks to Phyllis Caulfield, but Nina will think they know enough to stop looking.
She’ll give up on finding her child and take comfort in the hope that her daughter had a good life.
Nina will think the universe has sent her the appropriate signs, so she’ll close the door on this search and move on. As for Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), she’ll probably ask Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) where she found that half-heart pendant.
Carly already realized Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier) must’ve been the owner, but Avery’s story about finding it near the cabin may back that up. Avery may agree to lend the necklace to her stepmom since Carly needs to let Jax have a look at it.
Jax will be summoned to the Corinthos living room, where he’ll be floored by the news that Nelle may have been Nina’s biological child.
Jax may doubt it initially, but there’ll be no denying that the pendant is an exact match for Nina’s. Carly will have a warning for Jax, so she may argue that Nina’s better off never knowing the truth for so many reasons!
Next, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will grill Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) about why he showed up unannounced. Michael was about to make love to Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) again when Chase appeared, so Chase will try to skedaddle quickly on Monday.
That’ll bring a major outburst from Michael, who’ll chase after his former best bro and demand to know what’s going on. Chase will come up with an excuse to explain why he came over, but Michael may think Chase needs to back off and just let Willow go.
There’s a chance Brook Lynn will force the secret out in the open, but it’s also possible the fake affair will be exposed because of Sasha’s ordeal. Either way, things are seemingly about to blow up by midweek.
