General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Monday, October 19, teases that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will be on edge at the PCPD. Carly tried unsuccessfully to delay this meeting, but the detective from Pennsylvania was eager to get answers.
Once Carly’s sitting in the interrogation room, she’ll be asked to walk the detective through the whole story again.
Of course, Carly knows the more times she tells this story, the more opportunities she has to slip up. Carly will stand by the sworn statement she made that night, but the detective may point out a discrepancy.
Just after Carly’s faceoff with Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier) in the woods, she told Valerie Spencer (Paulina Lule) that Nelle pushed her. Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) came with follow-up questions after Nelle was dead – and that’s when Carly’s story changed. Carly told Chase that she fell.
Jason brushed off the mistake and assured Carly that small detail changes would be normal – especially since everything happened so fast and Carly was disoriented.
However, something tells us this Pennsylvania detective won’t see it that way. He’ll be looking for even the smallest error since Nelle and Carly had such a contentious past.
This detective might resort to some mind games as he works to pry the truth out of Carly. He might contend that if Carly lost control and shoved Nelle, it would be easy to understand why.
However, Diane Miller (Carolyn Henessy) will try to keep Carly’s mouth shut as much as she can. The less Carly says, the better off she’ll be.
Across town, Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) will ask Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) to have a glass of wine with her. GH spoilers say Sasha may try to bail, but Willow will think they should talk – REALLY talk.
There are some things Sasha and Willow have been dancing around, so Willow will think an honest discussion would do them some good.
Sasha will be talked into it and will indeed get somewhat honest with Willow. There’s a chance Sasha will admit the affair was fake, but she’ll reach an understanding with Willow regardless. That booze could be problematic though since Sasha’s on drugs and doesn’t need to alcohol compounding her issues.
At the boxing gym, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will try to clear his head by pounding a punching bag. Michael will think back to his conversation with Willow – the one where they determined they didn’t have to decide about a divorce right away.
Suddenly, Chance will appear and suggest maybe Michael could use a real opponent.
Michael won’t think it’s a good idea for Chase to go up against him, but Chase will keep his tone friendly as he promises he won’t be throwing any punches. He’ll hold up some practice gear so that Michael will be the only one delivering the blows.
Michael will warn Chase to proceed at his own risk, but it looks like this exercise may help ease the tension.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will push Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) to confess. She’ll think it’s ridiculous for Alexis to deny drinking when Sam already knows exactly what’s going on.
Sam will try to give her mom some tough love, but Alexis will wind up going off on Sam in a big way. There’ll be some hurled insults that cut Sam deep.
Next, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will listen to Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) pitch. Valentin will realize the search for Phyllis Caulfield isn’t going very well, but he’ll want to be Mr. Fix-It like he’s been in the past. Valentin will believe he can track Phyllis down if Nina allows him to help.
Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) was the first person to help Nina make real progress in the hunt for her biological child. Nina may bring that up as a dig at Valentin, but he could point out that Jax didn’t finish the job.
This isn’t about some kind of competition with Jax anyway – though Valentin would indeed love to beat him on this.
What Valentin mainly wants is Nina’s happiness – and a reunion with her biological child would indeed make her happy. Valentin will feel like Nina needs to take all possible routes if she wants the truth. What does Nina have to lose?
While Valentin asks Nina to let him help, Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) will grill Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Briana Lane) about who she’s spying on. Brook Lynn will be on the hot seat, but she may clam up about the cheating secret.
Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) admitted to sleeping with Alexis, but he doesn’t know Brook Lynn was within earshot.
Monica Quartermaiine (Leslie Charleson) will get updates on how exactly Ned fell into bed with Alexis. When Monica urges Ned to make a full confession to his wife, Ned will think that’s crazy talk. He’ll plan to go to the grave without ever divulging this news to Olivia.
General Hospital spoilers say Ned’s plan will change sooner or later, so stay tuned for Olivia’s inevitable heartbreak. CDL will have tons of other fantastic General Hospital spoilers, news and updates, so visit regularly for other GH details.
