General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Monday, September 21, teases that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will join Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) in her office, where they’ll discuss how they haven’t seen much of each other lately.
Jordan will admit she’s been slammed ever since Neil Byrne (Joe Flanigan) died, so Curtis will ask if it was a heart attack that killed him.
Although that was the suspected cause of death, the medical examiner confirmed that Neil was killed by an opioid overdose. After a surprised Curtis gets updates, he’ll think there could be a connection to Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). Jordan will suggest she thought that initially, but Cyrus denied it when he was confronted.
Curtis will wonder if Jordan really believed Cyrus would just admit to killing Neil, so Jordan will admit she didn’t expect a confession. However, Jordan did expect Cyrus to give her…something.
Instead, Cyrus gave Jordan nothing at all. Cyrus didn’t show any sign of guilt and didn’t even know Neil as far as Jordan could tell.
Curtis will point out that Jordan needs to be careful. He won’t want Jordan to push Cyrus too hard, especially since it could set a bad example for TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow).
Curtis will note that TJ is taking after his mother, so this will likely involve news about the protest TJ and Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos) are working on.
Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) will visit Curtis and Jordan on Monday, but this little reunion will head downhill fast. General Hospital spoilers say Curtis will blast Stella and act like she should’ve just skipped seeing them. Stella may cross the line on the Cyrus issue somehow and leave Curtis lashing out in fear.
After all, Stella cares about GH and is the type to take a stand. Curtis may worry that Stella’s putting herself in danger along with the people they both care about. Jordan will probably get an earful as well as she tries to ease tension, but Curtis will regain his composure later.
He’ll owe Stella an apology for the way he behaved, so she’ll indeed get one soon.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will discuss her diagnosis with Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) along with Molly. Alexis was confused when Portia suggested she likely had osteoporosis. It wasn’t something Alexis expected since she didn’t think she was old enough.
Nevertheless, osteoporosis is more common in Alexis’ age group than she thinks. A specialist will back up Portia’s suspicions, so Alexis will have to face this new reality. It’ll be hard for Alexis, who’ll beat herself up for thinking this couldn’t happen to her.
Alexis may hate that she waited so long to seek help and even had to be forced into this examination by Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth).
Molly will give Alexis a pep talk, so Alexis should appreciate having her daughter around when she needs her most. Next, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) will strategize. There’ll be some idea Jason has that he could use some help with, so Brando will hopefully get on board.
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) needs time to grieve for Mike Corbin (Max Gail), so Brando and Jason can worry about Cyrus for a while – at least if that’s what this plan entails.
Over with Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), they’ll talk about the massive secret they’re keeping. Carly wanted to tell Sonny the truth, but the time just hasn’t been right yet.
Jax will ask whether Carly’s filled Sonny in on what happened to Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier) – the real story, not the bogus version they gave to the cops.
Carly may insist she can’t tell Sonny when all he can think about is the loss of Mike. Revealing Nelle’s cliff fall and the cover-up would be piling too much on Sonny.
Carly might even think they should just let it go at this point. As long as Nelle stays gone, Carly may think they can put this to rest. Whatever the case, Carly and Jax’s problems will get a whole lot worse eventually.
Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) found Nelle’s half-heart pendant and hid it inside her backpack, so Avery will bring it home with her when Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) and Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) drop her off.
Ava will also request a word with Carly and Sonny, so maybe this conversation will involve Avery’s brief vanishing act.
If Avery were to mention her little adventure to Sonny and Carly, Ava would be in trouble for not coming clean. She may bring Carly and Sonny up to speed with Nikolas backing her up.
Nikolas and Ava may argue that Avery was discovered within minutes. This indeed could’ve been a terrible situation, but it ultimately turned out to be a harmless one.
Ordinarily, Sonny and Carly would flip out over something like this, but they might give Ava a pass for the most part. Since Mike just died, perhaps it put in perspective how you can’t sweat the small stuff and dwell on the past. Carly and Sonny are never going to be nice to Ava, but they could at least cut her a little slack.
Meanwhile, GH spoilers say Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) will cross paths with Cyrus, who’ll encourage Lulu to give her mom a message. There’ll be some troubling memo to pass along, but Lulu will be sick of Cyrus’ twisted interest with Laura Collins (Genie Francis).
She’ll wonder why Cyrus is so fascinated by Laura, but Cyrus will keep things cryptic as usual.
Elsewhere, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Dev Cerci aka “Dev Corbin” (Ashton Arbab) will discuss the homecoming dance, which Joss will hope Dev’s going to attend. Josslyn suggested going as a group of friends, so she’ll definitely want Dev there.
Dev got upset with Cameron Webber (William Lipton) over that asexual comment recently, so it’s tough to say what’s up. Is Dev really asexual? Could Dev be gay instead?
Is Dev interested in Joss and hoping not to make things any more awkward than they already are? There might even be someone from Turkey that Dev’s still pining for, so this is a mystery that’ll have to unravel.
Josslyn might pick up on the tension between Dev and Cam soon, we’ll see how the next phase of this storyline plays out.
