General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Thursday, August 6, teases that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will talk to a worried Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry).
Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) is still causing drama around Port Charles, but Jason and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) have no intention of making matters worse for Jordan. Jason will want Jordan to remember they’re on the same side of this battle.
Meanwhile, Cyrus will pop in Brando Corbin’s (Johnny Wactor) garage and suggest that he’s not there to talk about cars. There’ll be another topic on Cyrus’ mind, so Brando will be on edge.
It’s possible Cyrus and Brando are already connected, but Cyrus certainly wants to be if they aren’t! Brando will probably face some pressure in Thursday’s GH episode, so we’ll see how he handles it.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will defend herself. Carly agreed to go along with Jason’s choice, which involves giving Carly power of attorney.
If Jason is unable to make decisions for himself, he’s counting on Carly to make the right ones for him. Jason doesn’t want to be kept alive by machines, so he needs someone who’ll have the courage to let him die.
That’s a horrible position for anyone to be in, but it’d arguably be worse for Sam McCall (temporarily played by Lindsay Hartley) – the love of Jason’s life. Sam might not be able to let Jason go, and he doesn’t want Danny Morgan (Porter Fasullo) to blame his mother for anything.
Jason certainly hopes nothing this awful ever plays out, but he wants Carly to be in charge just in case.
Sam wasn’t a big fan of Jason’s decision – and she may not be happy that Carly agreed to it. On Thursday, Carly will make it clear that she’s just doing what Jason wants.
Carly won’t want to cause issues for Sam and Jason, but she can’t turn her back on her bestie. Luckily, Carly and Sam will be feeling more united by the time this episode winds down.
Next, TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) will bring Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) up to speed on an offer that he rejected. There’s no word on what that offer is or who it came from, but TJ will explain a bit more on Thursday.
Curtis will also cross paths with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), who’s no doubt still lonely and heartbroken.
Chase pretended to cheat with Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) – and their plot paid off. Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) became Mrs. Corinthos thanks to that last-minute wedding before the custody hearing. Now that Willow is Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) wife, Chase is struggling to accept a Willow-less future.
As Chase’s struggles continue, he may appreciate the distraction of his job. Curtis might seek news from Chase about Cyrus since he’s PC’s latest force to be reckoned with.
Elsewhere, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will feel like Deception is on the verge of big things. Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) will have an uneasy expression, but she’ll work with Maxie to decide something regarding Deception’s future.
Once Lucy and Maxie reach an agreement, they’ll move forward with their plan. It’ll be interesting to see how Sasha fits in, but you can bet it’ll probably add to her stress! Sasha seems poised to get hooked on drugs due to everything she’s up against.
In Geneva, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will spar with a WSB doctor. That doctor might contend that Dante’s made substantial improvements, but Dante will snap about the ticking time bomb in his head.
Dante will feel like his loved ones would still be in deadly danger if he was anywhere near them. Is that really true? Could Dante have recovered more than he realizes? Dante clearly has some fears left to conquer, so let’s hope the staff at that WSB facility can help.
