General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Thursday, December 10, teases that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will push Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) to open up about his treatment in Geneva.
Anna will be looking for warning signs that perhaps that treatment didn’t quite stick. Dante may admit he’s not the same man and perhaps never will be again.
Even so, Dante was released and intends to live life as normally as he can in Port Charles. That task is suddenly a lot tougher now that Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) is out of the picture, but Dante will manage as best as he can.
It’s worth noting that Anna knows Dante’s trigger phrase: “I will complete the mission.” If Anna remembers that old conversation and Dante uses that phrase again, it’ll be a huge tipoff that Dante isn’t truly well.
Of course, that may not be something that comes up in this conversation, but it could happen sooner or later.
At GH Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will make an enthusiastic pitch to Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton). As Peter August (Wes Ramsey) stands next to Maxie, she’ll gush about her double wedding plans and how great this could be.
However, Finn will seem hesitant about having a joint ceremony with Maxie and Peter.
General Hospital spoilers say Maxie’s face will fall when she realizes Finn may be turning down this opportunity. Peter might suggest that Anna and Finn don’t have to share their big day if they don’t want to. He may rein in Maxie’s excitement and contend that they can just plan their own nuptials.
That might bring Maxie’s chance to guilt-trip Finn into it. It’s tough to believe Finn will really break a pushy pregnant woman’s heart, so he’ll probably decide a double wedding will be fine.
At the Quartermaine mansion, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) will find Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) looking glum. Tracy will pick up the fact that something’s not so wonderful.
At some point during this discussion, Monica will make a startling confession. She’ll spill the cheating secret, so Tracy will flip out over Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) sleeping with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn).
Unfortunately, what Tracy does next could put that secret in jeopardy! Look for Tracy’s plot to end in catastrophe in the coming episodes.
Until then, Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) will make Alexis uncomfortable. They’ll bump into each other at the Metro Court bar, where Olivia will hint that she’s got her sights on Alexis right now.
Olivia may wind up giving Alexis a hard time about how she treated Robert Scoprio (Tristan Rogers) on Thanksgiving, especially since Alexis was trying to do her a favor by setting her up.
Nevertheless, Olivia isn’t a quitter, so she’ll probably reveal more plans to play Cupid. Perhaps Olivia will suggest the perfect man for Alexis is out there. Olivia might argue that Alexis just has to find a caring, faithful man like Ned!
That’s the kind of statement that would make Alexis uncomfortable under the circumstances.
At Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco), place she’ll wonder what a certain visitor’s doing there when he or she drops by. There’s no confirmation on who that visitor will be, but Alexis will indeed cross paths with Sam on Thursday.
Sam will fly into a rage over Alexis’ tactics, so she may not respond well to Alexis’ attempt to see her grandchildren.
As for Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), Sam just broke up with him and will undoubtedly relay that crucial fact to Alexis. Although Sam’s updates should please her mom, Alexis may not be able to resist pointing out that she gives out good advice – even when she’s plastered.
Alexis might rant about Sam not cutting ties sooner or find some other way to push Sam’s buttons.
Next, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will have a tender chat with someone and suggest how they’re all stuck with one another. Liz might have a heart-to-heart with Cameron Webber (William Lipton) or even another nurse who needs kind words.
Epiphany Johnson (Sonya Eddy) might be an option since she’s up against so much right now, but we’ll see how this conversation plays out.
In the meantime, Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) will apparently already be in Geneva for his doctor’s appointment. It seems Dr. Kirk (Christopher Cousins) is the recommended specialist here.
Dr. Kirk won’t be so sure it’s a good idea to associate with another Port Charles patient. That may be why Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) intervenes and pushes Dr. Kirk to speak with Franco anyway.
Obrecht may learn that Franco’s tumor came back, and that led to a portion of it being removed during surgery following the explosion. Now Franco’s concerned since he can hear Peter’s voice in his mind.
He’ll hope the doctor can help him figure out the link, but GH viewers know this likely relates to when Franco underwent memory-mapping and became “Drew Cain” (Billy Miller) for a while.
Drew’s memories are apparently still underneath the ones he’s made as Franco. Dr. Kirk might be able to help Franco gain full access to what Drew remembers, which could definitely sink Peter and bring good news for Dr. O.
As for Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner), he’ll think something shady must be going on once he finds somebody so far from home. It looks like Scott will see Liesl and wonder what the heck she’s doing at this facility in Geneva instead of at The Hague.
There’ll be some explosive tension as Scott tries to figure out what’s up and whether there’s a risk to Franco.
This will set up Scott bursting in Dr. Kirk’s office eventually and decking him, so there’ll be some action scenes happening within the next episode or two. General Hospital spoilers say things are about to get messy, so keep watching.
