General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Thursday, October 15, teases that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will have an honest discussion with Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright).
Sonny’s future will weigh heavily on his mind as he continues to grieve the loss of Mike Corbin (Max Gail). As Carly lends a sympathetic ear, Sonny will admit his concerns about facing the same outcome.
It looks like Sonny will fear he might face an Alzheimer’s diagnosis down the road and slowly slip away like Mike did. It was hard for Sonny to lose his father little by little like that.
However, there’s no point in fretting over something that might never happen. Carly will think Mike would want Sonny to live for the here and now, so Sonny may agree that’s what he has to do.
If Sonny were to wind up in a similar situation one day, he’s got a family to rally around him. Carly may assure Sonny that he’ll never be alone. On another note entirely, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) will feel confident Brando Corbin’s (Johnny Wactor) going to take the plunge.
Cyrus will insist he wants Brando as his next team member, so Brando may agree that’s sounding better and better.
Brando will show he’s thankful on Thursday, so he may offer up some fake gratitude and officially make a deal with Cyrus. As for Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero), she’ll be genuinely grateful when Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) walks back into her life.
Dante will assure Olivia that he’s truly back – and he’ll be staying put this time.
Although Dante will be sorry for pushing Olivia away, she shouldn’t hold a grudge. Olivia will be an emotional mess – but in the best possible way. It’ll mean a lot to have her son back, so Olivia will just embrace Dante and be glad this reunion finally came.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Jackie Templeton (Kim Delaney) will size Peter August (Wes Ramsey) up during a chat with him.
Peter will be pleased that Jackie agreed to team up with Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) on The Invader’s hottest new story. Jackie will be worth every penny as far as Peter’s concerned.
Peter will say all the right things, but Jackie will look a bit dubious as she sits across from him. GH fans know Jackie told Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) about looking into Peter and his background. Jackie had to know what she was getting herself into before she took on this story.
Robert lit up thinking Jackie might have an angle; he seemed to think Jackie could be a good ally against Peter. Despite the fact that Jackie dismissed that idea, the look in her eyes will suggest otherwise on Thursday. Perhaps Jackie and her nose for news could be a bigger threat than Peter realizes.
Next, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will make a discovery – most likely one related to the rheumatoid arthritis marker that Peter mentioned. Anna launched an investigation on her computer and hopes it’ll prove the truth about Peter’s bio mom.
Of course, there’s a good chance Anna’s going to find genetic evidence linking Peter to Alex Devane Marick (Finola Hughes).
Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) will encourage Anna to offer updates on what she’s learned to Peter. Finn will think Anna needs to tell Peter herself before he finds out another way – like from Alex.
Meanwhile, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will lash out over Damian Spinelli’s (Bradford Anderson) reaction to her engagement. Maxie will be sick and tired of Spinelli’s persistent Peter issues.
After Maxie recaps Peter’s good qualities and why she trusts him, she’ll think that should be good enough for Spinelli, too. General Hospital spoilers say Maxie will force Spinelli to make a choice.
It sounds like Spinelli will have to shape up or ship out! Maxie intends to marry Peter, so she may suggest Spinelli can get on board or else this friendship will be over.
Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) will also get an earful for being overprotective, so that may bring another outburst from Maxie. She’ll really be fuming as she launches total protective mode.
Maxie has no idea that Peter’s keeping so many sinister secrets from her, so she’ll want everyone to show him some respect.
Over with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), he’ll watch as Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Briana Lane) lets Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) have it. Valentin will face a verbal attack from Brook Lynn, who feels like her agreement with Valentin sent her life spiraling out of control.
Valentin will shift the blame away from himself and hurl some harsh words back at BLQ, which Chase will probably gripe about. This could give Chase a chance to play the hero, so Valentin may drop a hint about Brook Lynn having a new boyfriend to watch out for her.
Brook Lynn only considers Chance a pal – and that’s a fairly recent development despite her decision to crash at his place. Nevertheless, Valentin will act like Brook Lynn’s protesting too much.
He’ll push Brook Lynn’s buttons, but it seems she’ll find a way to make peace with Valentin within the next week or so.
