General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Thursday, September 17, tease that a mission will get underway outside the cabin. GH fans know Ava Cassadine (Maura West) took Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) there for a few days with Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) permission.
Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) suspected Ava was headed there to cheat with Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth), so he plotted to catch Ava in the act.
Nikolas wound up sleeping with Ava instead, so that’ll leave them in an interesting place on Thursday. The tense vibe will have softened somewhat – and it’ll continue to soften once Avery wakes up with a request. Nikolas will offer to help with Ava’s approval, and she definitely won’t mind.
In fact, seeing this doting, sweet side of Nikolas will tug at Ava’s heartstrings. Ava and Avery will be outside in their robes, so this might be some missing toy hunt or some other kid-related “emergency” that’s warranted so late at night. Nikolas will likely save the day and leave Ava with a serious crush on her husband!
Meanwhile, it looks like Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will shut down Diane Miller’s (Carolyn Henessy) worries. Alexis fell off the wagon not too long ago, so she’ll sense that Diane fears she’ll fall off again.
Nevertheless, Alexis may feel like she’s got a good grip on her sobriety. There’s always going to be temptation, but Alexis is used to her life being a mess by now.
Alexis is handling Neil Byrne’s (Joe Flanigan) death as best as she can – and she’ll plan to continue doing that without alcohol. A little later, a problem will arise for Alexis that Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) pitches in with.
It’ll serve as a good distraction for Ned since Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Briana Lane) keeping him at a distance.
Next, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will wonder what’s next for Brook Lynn. Perhaps Brook Lynn will confide that her latest results brought bad news. The only singing Brook Lynn will be doing from now on is in the shower!
Brook Lynn’s singing career is over before it ever really began, so she may struggle to figure out what her life’s going to look like now.
Since Brook Lynn is refusing Ned’s support, she’ll have to figure out some ways to assert her independence and move forward. In Monte Carlo, Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) won’t think Winston Rudge (David S. Lee) is going to know what hit this casino he’s part-owner on!
Olivia will have a creative scheme – one that might leave Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) scrambling if it all goes wrong!
Over with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), she’ll focus on her new Phyllis Caulfield clue. After opening up to Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) about the past, Nina had a realization and now appears to know where she learned the name.
Will Nina be able to find Phyllis or at least someone who knew Phyllis once upon a time? Anything that puts Nina closer to the long-lost child truth will be a good thing.
At Turning Woods, Mike Corbin’s (Max Gail) last breath will draw near as his family rallies nearby. Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will insist that someone’s dad is right, though it’s unclear if he’s talking about Sonny’s dad or Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) dad in Thursday’s GH preview video.
Regardless, Jason will back up some words of positivity to keep everyone’s spirits up.
Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will join Sonny in Mike’s room, where Carly will admit to being puzzled. General Hospital spoilers say Carly won’t really get what’s happening, but it won’t matter since it’ll make sense to Mike!
General Hospital spoilers say Mike will finally be ready to go, so it seems he’ll offer a parting gift to Sonny – some hint that Mike’s at peace and prepared to pass on.
Someone will take Mike to the great beyond, so a familiar GH character or two should resurface. Courtney Matthews (Alicia Leigh Willis) would be a good option here – and Adela Corinthos is a possibility to consider, too.
No matter who shows up to coax Mike to the other side, he’ll recognize them and decide it’s indeed time to depart.
We’ll give you updates as other GH details emerge. General Hospital spoilers say Mike’s death will be bittersweet since he’ll head to a better place, but his loved ones will certainly grieve the loss.
