General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Thursday, September 24, tease that Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) won’t be able to conceal the obvious. Sasha’s still in love with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), so Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) will pressure her to confess.
Of course, Sasha may not see what difference her feelings make. Michael is married to Willow now and they’ve got a sweet family with Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson).
Perhaps Sasha will encourage Willow to just focus on what she’s got and never take it for granted. It’s clear that Sasha believes she’s lost Michael forever, so she’d rather spend her time doing drugs than dwelling on what might’ve been.
General Hospital spoilers say Sasha will seek help from a pal – although maybe we should say “help” instead. If what Sasha’s really looking for is more drugs to cope, then this friend of hers won’t really be so helpful.
Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), on the other hand, will have some useful guidance for Michael. He’ll seem perplexed when Liz mentions exploring other options, so this may relate to Wiley’s upcoming procedure.
Wiley needs another surgery due to his heart issues, but Michael should really check into getting that done at Mercy or another hospital. GH was slapped with a lawsuit after the first procedure and all the Nelle drama. Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) and Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) even lost their jobs once Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) took over.
Cyrus is putting the quality of care at GH in jeopardy by firing and demoting some of their best employees, so Wiley might be in better hands at another medical center.
Next, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will arrive to question Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright). Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) got confirmation on Nelle Benson Jerome’s (Chloe Lanier) death, so that means bad news for Carly.
Of course, there’s no proof that Carly did anything to Nelle, but we do know Carly deceived the police about the real story. Unfortunately, Carly will continue to lie on Thursday’s GH episode.
Chase may wonder if Carly has anything to add or would like to change. There’ll have to be a full investigation into Nelle’s death, so Carly will be sweating it out as Chase tries to figure out how this happened.
GH viewers know Nelle slipped by the cliff’s edge and was hanging on for dear life when Carly found her. Carly’s attempt to pull Nelle up was unsuccessful, so Nelle plummeted – seemingly to her death if you believe what the show’s trying to sell.
Something tells us the real outcome won’t be that simple, but Nelle’s dead for the time being.
The call about Nelle’s demise interrupted Carly’s confession plan, but Carly should resume her mission to tell the truth – at least to Sonny. There’s no way Carly’s going to come clean to the cops at this point in the story, but Sonny needs to know as Carly’s husband.
Carly will suggest she simply didn’t tell Sonny the whole truth; she won’t think the secrets she’s been keeping are lies.
Sonny should object after he realizes Carly’s once again been in cahoots with Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher). Carly kept Nikolas Cassadine’s (Marcus Coloma) survival a secret because of Jax, so Sonny may feel like she learned nothing from that. Keeping things under wraps with Jax always leads to trouble!
Nevertheless, it appears Carly will fill Sonny in on how Nelle died and why Carly stayed quiet about her involvement. As for Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Briana Lane), she’ll have a warning for her dad.
Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) will be on the verge of doing something that Brook Lynn won’t think is wise.
Ned will seemingly be looking at his phone when he receives this warning, so this must involve MIA Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) and her trip with Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers).
Brook Lynn erased the message Olivia left for Ned, so BLQ may take her scheme a step further and suggest that ignorance is bliss. Maybe Brook Lynn will imply that Ned may not like what he finds if he digs deeper.
General Hospital spoilers say Ned will make a disturbing discovery on Thursday, so he may indeed draw the wrong conclusion about Olivia and Robert Scorpio’s (Tristan Rogers) time together.
Over with Julian Jerome (William deVry), he may worry if he gets updates on Nelle’s fate. That letter of Nelle’s was supposed to be handed over to the cops if she turned up missing or dead.
Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight) didn’t do anything after Nelle’s disappearance, but he might after the finality of a corpse. Perhaps that’ll be what Julian’s concerned about when he asks for Martin’s assistance.
Julian might get desperate enough to put all his cards on the table and admit he wants to make a deal. If Martin destroys that envelope, maybe Julian can make it worth his while.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Nikolas will need some legal advice as well. Martin will wonder what the reason for this meeting is, so Nikolas will bring Martin up to speed on some messes he’s landed in. Nik will do everything in his power to keep the Cassadine fortune, so Martin may be able to help.
On the pier, Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) will have a wild reaction to the blackmailer she just aimed her gun at. It looks like it’s Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) who showed up to collect, so Ava will wonder what in the world Scott’s thinking.
Ava considers Scott a friend, so she’ll unleash her wrath over being stabbed in the back.
Scott is apparently trying to score some extra money for Liz and Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth), who’ll continue to argue over their finances on Thursday.
