General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Tuesday, December 29, teases that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will hear the latest news on Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and grow concerned.
With Sonny missing, the Corinthos clan could be more vulnerable to Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) and his twisted tactics. Dante will talk to Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and seek answers about what’s being done to ensure the family’s protection.
Meanwhile, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will come up with a new tactic of her own. General Hospital spoilers say Laura will confide in Jackie Templeton (Kim Delaney) on Tuesday.
Jackie will be surprised once she gets updates on Laura’s family reunion at the facility in Vermont. Laura will offer a recap on how she came to discover that Cyrus and Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) are her half-siblings.
Jackie will be a good source of support for Laura – and she’ll manage to inspire an intriguing idea, too. Since Jackie’s dealt with some complex issues within her own family, she may bring something up that could work for Laura.
One way or another, Laura will zero in on Cyrus’ relationship with Martin in the coming weeks. She’ll ultimately rev up the conflict and use that to her advantage if possible.
In the meantime, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will be overjoyed as she grasps the face of a man who appears to be Sonny – or at least a Sonny stand-in.
General Hospital spoilers say Carly will feel like her husband has come back to her. She’ll assure Sonny that she knew he’d return, but Carly should wake up and realize it was all a dream soon enough.
Carly will get a genuine reunion with Sonny at some point, but he’ll have a long journey back to his family – complete with amnesia if all the GH buzz is correct.
Until then, let’s talk about Cyrus and his sinister plans. Cyrus will meet up with Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor), so Brando may have to pretend he’s still in the dark on Sonny’s MIA status.
Cyrus will be caught off guard when he realizes someone’s family hasn’t told him something – and it looks like he’ll be talking to Brando. If that’s the case, you can bet Cyrus will take great pleasure in filling Brando in on the bridge crumbling.
Brando may have to feign surprise before he grills Cyrus about his next move against Sonny’s business.
Cyrus will probably only offer details on a need-to-know basis, but he’ll definitely want Brando to be a team player. Brando will be in a difficult situation since his loyalties will be stretched to the limit. He’ll have to figure out how far he can take this charade of being Cyrus’ real employee without crossing the line.
Over with Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton), he’ll believe it’s best to leave the truth buried sometimes. Finn has already hurt Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) by letting him believe he was angry with him all these years.
Finn slept with Jackie the evening before she became Gregory’s wife, so that secret could do even more damage if it came out.
Finn never demanded a paternity test, so he can’t know with certainty that Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) is his brother instead of his son. Confessing could spark all kinds of questions and stir up major family chaos, so Finn will be determined to leave the past in the past.
Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) also wants to leave Peter August (Wes Ramsey) out of the loop on who his biological mother is. That’s understandable, but why lie to Finn about it?
Anna claims she doesn’t know for sure – only that she knows Peter needs her to be his mom. It’d be better for Anna to come clean to Finn about what the genetic testing revealed, but it seems she’ll stay tight-lipped on Tuesday.
As for Chase, he’ll plan to jump into freezing cold water to raise money for charity. It turns out Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) will have the same idea. General Hospital spoilers say Willow will cross paths with Chase as they prepare for Port Charles’ polar plunge event.
Chase and Willow will likely admire each other in their bathing suits on the sly. Their conversation may be uncomfortable, but Willow will still grab Chase’s hand before they hit the water.
That could break the tension and leave them chuckling over what they’re willing to do for a great cause. Chase and Willow could deal with some flying sparks as they try to warm up!
