General Hospital Spoilers Update: Tuesday, September 8 – Neil Murder Mystery – Peter’s Nelle Plan – Olivia’s Dante Surprise

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Tuesday, September 8, teases that some gripping moments are in store for fans. As a reminder, there won’t be a new GH episode on Monday, September 7. General Hospital will air a repeat on Labor Day, but new episodes will resume starting Tuesday.

With that in mind, let’s talk about Tuesday’s explosive show. At Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) WSB facility in Geneva, he’ll do pushups as he thinks back to a conversation with his doctor.

Dante will recall turning down the mission he was offered and asking how long his treatment would take. Now that Dante’s decided to truly focus on his recovery, he’s ready to speed things along.

Dante’s been gone for over a year, so he doesn’t know how much of his family’s still waiting on him. In a moment of frustration, Dante will pick up a chair and hurl it across the room.

Meanwhile, Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) will arrive at the facility along with Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers). After they sign in and get their guest badges, Olivia will hope Dante’s willing to see her.

Robert will remind Olivia that she has to keep a positive attitude. Once a staff member’s alerted to a visitor, he’ll plan to ask if Dante will receive one. Dante will stand on the other side of the door looking pensive.

He obviously won’t be in a good frame of mind if that hurled chair is any indication, so he might turn Olivia away.

However, Olivia has come all the way to Geneva just to see her son. Although Olivia will face despair on Tuesday, she might shout at the door to Dante or just break down talking to Robert.

Either way, there may be a chance for Dante to overhear and see what he’s doing to his mother. Let’s hope Dante relents and allows this Olivia visit. It would surely do them both a world of good!

Back in Port Charles, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will remain stunned over Neil Byrne’s (Joe Flanigan) preliminary autopsy report. Alexis just found out Neil’s death was caused by respiratory failure that was brought on by an overdose, so she’s completely baffled.

The medical examiner will back up what Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) told Alexis, but Alexis may have her doubts that Neil was hooked on drugs. Could PC’s newest drug lord be behind this? Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) is certainly a suspect since foul play seems to be involved here.

Meanwhile, Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) will guess there might be more to the story. During a chat with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) at GH, Brando will push for the real reason behind “JaSam’s” change of heart.

Jason may offer updates on Damian Spinelli’s (Bradford Anderson) surveillance camera and how they ended up at the garage to help injured Brando.

As for Peter August (Wes Ramsey), he’ll wrap up his phone conversation with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and make it an in-person discussion instead.

Peter’s nervous now that Spinelli’s taunted him about Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier) and what she knows about Peter’s link to Shiloh Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin).

Since Valentin’s had dealings with Nelle, Peter may want some help in handling her if the need arises. Valentin might vow to work his magic and see if he can find out anything about Nelle’s location. Naturally, neither Peter nor Valentin know about Nelle’s cliff fall.

Perhaps Valentin’s investigation could eventually lead him to uncover Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Jasper “Jax” Jacks’ (Ingo Rademacher) secret.

Regardless, Peter will feel like Valentin’s the only one he can trust. There’s a lot on the line for Peter, whose entire world would blow up if all his transgressions came to light.

Spinelli caught Peter incriminating himself through his phone call to Valentin, so he’ll most likely pass that news along to Jason and Sam soon. On Tuesday, Spinelli will giddily suggest that he has a confession from Peter himself.

Spinelli may play the recording for Sam and Jason, but the battle isn’t won yet. Peter has a knack for getting himself out of incredibly tight spots.

Speaking of tight spots, Julian Jerome (William deVry) will hope his is a thing of the past. Nelle’s gone now, so he’ll want to get in touch with Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight) ASAP. Julian hopes to get the ball rolling on an annulment and get rid of that sealed envelope Nelle left behind, too.

That envelope was supposed to send the cops straight to Julian’s door in the event she went missing or turned up dead. Nevertheless, Julian thinks Nelle bolted on her own – and she did up until the cliff incident.

It’s tough to believe Martin would want to help Nelle at this point anyway, so Julian will count on his Nelle troubles to be over.

Finally, General Hospital spoilers say Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) will meet up with Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) to see how he’s doing, especially with all the Cyrus chaos happening at GH.

Kevin’s position there could easily be at risk since Cyrus has a major beef with Kevin’s beloved Laura Collins (Genie Francis).

It’s a good idea for Lulu to check on Kevin, but she’ll actually have a hidden agenda. Lulu will eventually fill Kevin in on the real reason she wants to talk to him, so we’ll see if this involves some Cyrus sneakiness! CDL will have plenty of other hot General Hospital spoilers, updates and news, so don’t forget to stop by often.
