General Hospital Spoilers Update: Wednesday, August 19 – Sam & Brando Battle – Dustin’s Outburst – Portia Suspects Jordan Secret

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Wednesday, August 19, teases that Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) will remain on Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) bad side. Brando insists he wasn’t to blame for Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) motorcycle accident, but it seems Sam will still have a hard time buying that.

However, Brando’s luck may turn around with Sam by the time Friday rolls around. Until then, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) will share another tense moment.

Franco will try to figure out if Liz is angry with him, so she’ll wonder if there’s a reason she should be. There’ll be more bickering between these two thanks to Ava Cassadine (Maura West) and Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma).

Fortunately, Nikolas and Ava’s sneaky plans will come to light before the week’s over, so stay tuned to see what Liz does after eavesdropping. In the meantime, Epiphany Johnson (Sonya Eddy) will have a bone to pick with someone in the backstage area.

If Nelle Benson Jerome’s (Chloe Lanier) still lurking back there, she could easily provoke Epiphany’s wrath!

Other General Hospital spoilers say Dustin Phillips (Mark Lawson) will lash out. This may be due to Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Briana Lane) upcoming blunder. GH fans can expect Brook Lynn to get a bit carried away.

Since Brook Lynn and Dustin cowrote a song for the Nurses Ball, that experience helped them bond again. After performing it, Brook Lynn may read too much into what’s going on here.

For Dustin, Brook Lynn is an ex who’s become a friend and nothing more – at least at this point in the story. Dustin’s still devoted to Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan), who’ll be on hand to witness Dustin’s latest outburst.

If Brook Lynn tries to lock lips with Dustin, he may shut her down. Even so, Lulu might battle more concerns about Brook Lynn and Dustin’s lingering connection.

The red-carpet fun may be over, but we’ll see some stragglers making their way into the Nurses Ball on Wednesday. Cameron Webber (William Lipton), Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will all show up in the nick of time.

Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) will mention the teens’ tardiness, but she’ll ultimately be happy they made it.

The same goes for Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), who’ll encourage Trina to warm up to him a little. Accomplishing that won’t be easy since Trina usually hurls nothing but hatred at Curtis. However, Curtis can at least hope Trina might start tolerating him soon.

General Hospital viewers will also see Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) on the docks to continue her mystery meeting. Of course, it doesn’t seem like that much of a mystery at this point!

Marcus Taggert (Real Andrews) appears to be alive based on the clues GH has offered, so he may wonder what’s taking so long on sinking Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober).

Taggert has loved ones who need to know the truth about his faked death. Alas, they’ll have to keep waiting for now. Taggert will fret over Jordan being in over her head with Cyrus, but she’ll disagree. Jordan will just want Taggert to trust that she can deal with this, but he’ll have his doubts.

Back with Curtis, he’ll explain why Jordan supposedly took off. Portia may not believe Jordan’s work emergency story – and Curtis probably won’t either. This could lead to Curtis digging around to see what Jordan’s really up to.

Next, Josslyn and Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) will spend some time together. They’re family now, so they might as well get to know each other better.

Joss may get reassurance that Willow’s content building a new family with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson).

Willow may also offer Josslyn some advice since some teen love drama’s brewing. Cameron has feelings for Josslyn and has for a while now. Now that Joss is in the loop, she’s struggling to know what to do.

Josslyn can also sense that maybe something’s happening between Trina and Cam, so that makes all of his even harder to deal with. Perhaps Willow will be able to offer some words of wisdom.

Elsewhere, Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) will be ready to take what he learned from Nelle and deliver a truth bomb to Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms).

Spinelli will want Maxie to know what Peter’s capable of right away, but it’s not wise to just dump this on Maxie. There’s no reason for Maxie to believe Nelle or anyone else; she’s too caught up in her romance to see Peter for who he really is.

Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) is a bit less impulsive than Spinelli, so he may argue that they have to strategize and get the Peter proof they need. Nelle’s version of events from Shiloh Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) isn’t good enough without some evidence to back it up.

As for Maxie, she’ll announce some huge news. Peter may get updates on Maxie’s impending bundle of joy. Although Maxie will be bursting with nervousness, Peter will seem cool as a cucumber. Despite Peter’s fears about his mistakes catching up with him, he’ll certainly be on board with becoming a father.

General Hospital spoilers say some curveballs are cooking up in Port Charles! GH fans won’t want to miss Peter’s downfall in the coming episodes, so keep watching! CDL will have plenty more General Hospital spoilers, updates and news posts to read, so be sure to make us your go-to source.
