General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Wednesday, November 18, teases that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will interrogate Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) about his latest story. Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) was facing a grilling session of her own until Nikolas piped up with a lie about ordering the attack on Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom).
That’s going to bring some suspicions from Sonny, who’ll wonder why Nikolas would set something like that in motion. Nikolas will contend that he was doing what he had to do to protect Ava. Ryan was a threat that had to be handled, so Nikolas will argue that he took care of business.
However, GH fans know Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) was the one behind the hit on Ryan – and he’s got Nelle Benson Jerome’s (Chloe Lanier) letter to prove it. That letter will remain incredibly important since it could seal Julian Jerome’s (William deVry) fate.
Julian hoped he could make a new deal and avoid making the explosive delivery Cyrus has in mind. That led to Julian divulging that Marcus Taggert (Real Andrews) survived. Cyrus looked stunned when he realized Taggert wasn’t dead after all, but he’s not going to let Julian off the hook.
There’s no reason for Julian’s info to change anything since Cyrus still has control through that letter. Furthermore, Cyrus may feel like Julian should’ve been loyal and spilled this secret right off the bat.
Cyrus will insist Julian has nobody to blame but himself, so Julian may face a threat about what’ll happen if he goes against Cyrus’ wishes.
Unfortunately, Julian has blown it in more ways than one since he gave away his last bit of leverage with Sonny. General Hospital spoilers say Julian’s problems are only going to get worse in the coming weeks, so stay tuned as we keep inching toward his looming exit.
Until then, Sonny will continue his conversation with Nikolas. Ava’s eyes will dart around anxiously as Sonny warns about not missing a shot if one’s taken.
If Sonny realizes Cyrus went after Ryan, it could lead to a discussion with Nik about their common enemy. Cyrus poses just as much of a threat to Ava’s brother as Sonny does.
Sonny may not want Nikolas making a mess of things with a murder attempt. If someone’s going to take Cyrus out, it needs to be a truly fatal bullet! Of course, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) might enter this discussion eventually, but he’ll be busy with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) in the meantime.
Jason tried to help Britt understand that Cyrus was GH’s biggest problem. Cyrus is responsible for the massive amount of drug cases coming through the hospital – and there’ll be even more if Cyrus proves drugs can be moved through Port Charles without any issues.
General Hospital spoilers say Jason will rely on Britt as an ally. He’ll trust that when the time is right, Britt will come through for him. Britt will be placed in a difficult position since Cyrus is her boss, but she’ll find even more reasons to turn against Cyrus later this week.
In Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattsson) hospital room, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will fly off the handle. Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) just admitted that Sasha never betrayed Michael with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), so she’ll elaborate on that this Wednesday.
Michael will reel as he realizes it was all one big cheating charade – just a scheme to make sure he married Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen). General Hospital spoilers say Michael will rip into Carly for keeping something like this a secret.
He’ll wonder how Carly could know the truth and not tell him, but Carly will feel like she was putting the “Millow” family first.
Carly saw how happy Willow made Michael and thought they could be the perfect family with Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson). In hindsight, Carly may realize her silence was a bad idea. The same goes for Chase, who’ll face Willow’s wrath once he explains exactly what happened.
Chase just confessed there was no betrayal, so Willow will seethe over being manipulated and having any choice in the matter taken away from her. It wasn’t Chase and Sasha’s place to decide if Willow should marry Michael. They certainly shouldn’t have resorted to this level of deception.
Willow also won’t understand why Chase stayed silent for so long. There were so many times when Chase could’ve told Willow the truth, but he never had the guts to actually do it until now.
General spoilers say Chase will get a fierce lecture, so Willow may not forgive and forget anytime soon.
We’ll keep you posted as other GH news and updates emerge. It sounds like Michael and Willow will both have a lot to think about! CDL’s where you want to be for the hottest General Hospital spoilers, news and updates, so stop by regularly.
