General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Wednesday, October 21, teases that Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) will take himself out of a problematic situation.
GH viewers know Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) offered to take care of Nelle Benson Jerome’s (Chloe Lanier) burial arrangements, but that decision infuriated Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright).
Nina thinks it’d be nice for Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson) to have a gravestone to visit if he has questions someday. However, Carly feels like Nina’s just trying to make herself feel better somehow.
Carly isn’t on board with Nina’s plans at all, especially since Nelle’s being buried in the same cemetery as Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig), Mike Corbin (Max Gail) and Willow Corinthos’ (Katelyn MacMullen) dead baby. This is already causing drama, but even more is on the way.
On Wednesday, Jax will talk about how he can’t participate. It sounds like Jax will opt out of anything to do with this burial. Jax won’t want to upset Carly – and he doesn’t particularly care if Nelle rests in peace anyway!
Nina’s bound to think Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) are right about Carly always coming first in Jax’s life. Although Nina may understand Jax’s negative feelings toward Nelle, she’ll probably still feel like Carly’s being coddled.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Ava will fear her marriage is just a sham and nothing more. Since Ava found part of Nikolas Cassadine’s (Marcus Coloma) torn check, she seemingly knows he cheated and paid off Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner).
That’ll leave Ava a tad bitter when she talks to Julian Jerome (William deVry) on Wednesday. Ava thought Nikolas had grown to care about her the way a true husband should, but she won’t be so sure anymore.
As for Julian, he’ll gripe about the divorce and hope Ava’s willing to move forward with it. Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) could unleash the letter Nelle gave him at any moment – and it’d mean bad news for Julian if it ended up in Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) possession.
In the meantime, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will let Nikolas pour his heart out and give her a genuine apology. Nikolas will regret his manipulation tactics, especially since his plan to push Ava out of the picture didn’t go as planned.
Now that Nikolas actually wants to stay married to Ava, he’ll feel like this is a bit of a mess.
Although Elizabeth certainly isn’t Ava’s biggest fan, she may support Nikolas’ pursuit of a real future with Ava. Liz might worry about Nikolas getting burned in the end, but the heart wants what it wants!
Next, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will make her pitch to Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and hope he’s willing to be the CEO of her Aurora Media half.
It looks like Michael will give this offer serious consideration, but Willow may get the wrong idea about what’s going on. Willow will wonder if there are issues with the annulment they plan to get, but she’ll probably just mishear Michael on the phone.
Michael may bring Willow up to speed on Sam’s proposal and get an enthusiastic response. Willow will probably know that deep down, Michael would like to get back in the corporate game.
In a hotel suite, Valentin will assure Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Briana Lane) that he doesn’t regret their night together. It’ll be obvious it got hotter and heavier after that kiss at Charlie’s Pub!
Since Valentin will be fine with the heat that went down between them, he’ll hope Brook Lynn’s OK with what happened, too. Brook Lynn isn’t committed or really pining for anyone at the moment.
Perhaps Valentin and Brook Lynn will be on the same page about their hookup being a good way to blow off steam.
At the Quartermaine mansion, General Hospital spoilers say Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) will have Brook Lynn on her mind as she lectures Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth).
As far as Monica’s concerned, she’ll feel like Ned’s playing with fire by keeping his betrayal a secret from Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero).
Brook Lynn could blab before Ned has the chance, so Monica will mention that on Wednesday. She’ll encourage Ned to confess since there’s nothing to stop Brook Lynn from doing it.
When Olivia appears and realizes something’s being kept from her, she’ll grow curious. Ned may have to work extra hard to downplay things, but it looks like he’ll wiggle out of his for now.
We’ll keep you in the loop as other GH updates emerge. General Hospital spoilers say Ned’s only delaying the inevitable, so stay tuned to see when this ticking timebomb will explode. CDL will have all the hot General Hospital spoilers, updates and news you need, so pop back in frequently.
