General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Wednesday, September 23, teases that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will get ready to make a major admission. Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will look worried as Carly confesses to doing something he’s not going to like.
However, we should note that an alarming phone call will come in for Jason on Wednesday. If that phone call interrupts Carly’s confession, she may have to save it for another time.
Then again, it’s possible Carly will indeed spill the beans about Nelle Benson Jerome’s (Chloe Lanier) cliff tumble and the lies that were told afterward. Carly might even shift gears and confess something else to Jason, so we’ll just have to see how it goes.
Regardless of how this conversation with Jason plays out, it doesn’t look like Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will learn what’s up.
Sonny will talk to Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) about the half-heart pendant, which she’ll insist is hers. If Sonny pumps Avery for info on her new jewelry, she might bend the truth and suggest she got it as a present on her trip with Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West).
However, Avery may not have a chance to say much at all since Lulu Spencer’s (Emme Rylan) set to arrive.
Sonny will get some comforting words from Lulu, so Avery may scurry upstairs to tuck the necklace away for safekeeping again. Perhaps Avery will hope Sonny just forgets about it, but that necklace is obviously going to cause more issues sooner or later.
In the meantime, Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) will fret since he still hasn’t heard from Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero), who’s been off on a dangerous adventure in Monte Carlo. To be fair, Olivia did reach out to Ned and even left a message. It’s not Olivia’s fault that sneaky Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Briana Lane) deleted it!
Since Ned’s feeling nervous and in the dark, he’ll ask Julian Jerome (William deVry) if Olivia’s been in touch with him. Ned will hope Olivia might’ve reached out about Leo Falconeri (Aaron Bradshaw), but Olivia’s seemingly been too busy.
Between bursting in with a gun and saving Robert Scorpio’s (Tristan Rogers) life along with Ethan Lovett’s (Nathan Parsons), Olivia’s had her hands full.
Next, Brook Lynn won’t seem entirely comfortable at Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) apartment. Chase will point out that maybe she’d like to stay somewhere else, but Brook Lynn doesn’t have a ton of friends waiting to welcome her with open arms.
Since Brook Lynn doesn’t want to accept help from her family, Chase’s couch is her most appealing choice.
Over with Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos) and TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow), they’ll hug Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) after she comes around the corner. Stella will offer to pitch in on TJ and Molly’s looming commitment ceremony, but they seem to be doing just fine on their own.
Of course, Stella has a tendency to overstep and take over, so she may insist on helping out these lovebirds.
Stella will likely praise Molly for being such a wonderful domestic partner for TJ. Molly may get compliments for being so loyal and honest, but none of that’s what she wants to hear right now. GH fans know Molly’s feeling guilty enough as it is, but Stella will manage to kick that guilt up a notch.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) will do his best to cheer up Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman), who’s undoubtedly feeling a bit lost now that she’s been fired from GH. Scott will still see a bright future for Bobbie, but she may not be so sure.
Bobbie will likely rant about Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) again, so Scott may have to listen to Bobbie vent.
At the Metro Court, Ava will show Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) the picture that was just sent to her phone – the one of Ava and Franco Baldwin’s (Roger Howarth) stolen smooch!
Nina will be horrified and wonder how Ava plans to handle this, but that’ll probably depend on the picture sender’s next move. There’s a good chance Ava will be summoned for a meeting with the person behind the threat.
As for Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma), he just got a pic sent to his phone of his own improper kiss. Nikolas shouldn’t have been locking lips with Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), but now he has to face the music due to the photo proof.
On the pier, it seems Nikolas will learn who plotted to snap the pics and catch the cheating. Nikolas will be taken aback and quite annoyed when he realizes who set this in motion. Who arranged for Nikolas and Ava to get caught betraying each other?
Spencer Cassadine’s (Nicolas Bechtel) name has been coming up a lot lately, so maybe we shouldn’t rule him out. Nikolas hasn’t earned his son’s trust yet, so Spencer might’ve wanted to keep an eye on Nik’s activities. Spencer could shame Nikolas for his own betrayal and offer proof against Ava at the same time.
However, Franco and Liz have been acting a bit weird about this whole scenario. It may be a plot they cooked up to dupe Ava and Nikolas, so that’d explain Nikolas’ annoyed reaction on the pier. Nik certainly wouldn’t like the idea of Franco strutting down to reveal he’s got the upper hand.
As for Elizabeth, she might meet up with Ava for a similar reveal. Although Liz and Franco’s scheme would be a fun twist, we know “Friz” has more money woes coming up. There’ll be some clashing over what’s in their bank accounts before the week concludes, so let’s hope Franco and Elizabeth can get on the same page soon.
