General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that a debate is heating up about Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and all his women! GH fans know Valentin is hung up on Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), but she’s not the only option here.
Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) also has a hold on Valentin that he just can’t shake – and now Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Briana Lane) has entered the mix as well.
So who does Valentin really belong with? General Hospital viewers are definitely going to have some different opinions on the topic of Valentin and where his heart should lead him. Let’s consider each love interest possibility so we can weigh the pros and cons.
For starters, there’s Nina. The downside of putting Valentin with anyone else is that Nina is number one in Valentin’s heart and perhaps always will be. Valentin may never truly be able to shake Nina – and Nina doesn’t seem like she can shake him either. That was evident in Nina’s reaction to Valentin’s hookup with Brook Lynn.
Once Nina’s disbelief wore off, it became shock and then outrage. Valentin was loving the apparent jealousy from Nina – and it indeed seemed to be jealousy. Nina has no right to cause a fuss since she’s sleeping with Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher), but that didn’t stop her from lashing out.
Nina’s relationship with Jax is bound to implode over the Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier) cliff cover-up and how he protected Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright). That could leave Nina poised for a reunion with Valentin, but what about Anna? GH has been offering some hints about a romantic direction for Anna and Valentin, too.
As we mentioned, Valentin talked about the hold Anna has on him. It’d break his heart if anything happened to Anna, so he’s invested in keeping her safe from Alex Devane Marick (Finola Hughes). General Hospital spoilers say Valentin will remain involved whether Anna likes it or not.
Valentin also mentioned to Brook Lynn that he loved someone before Nina – obviously talking about Anna. GH seems to be keeping this “Vanna” option open, which is a good idea since Anna and Hamilton Finn’s (Michael Easton) impending marriage probably isn’t going to work out.
Even so, some fans are loving the fun vibe between Brook Lynn and Valentin. They have intriguing chemistry – and Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) absolutely hates the idea of them sleeping together. There’d be another round off drama if Valentin and Brook Lynn turned this into a real romance.
Brook Lynn told Valentin it couldn’t happen again, but then she hooked up with him once more on a technicality. It was still sort of the same day, so Brook Lynn thought they might as well. Valentin is certainly feeling the heat, so this could turn into a full-fledged “friends with benefits” situation – or maybe more.
It’d be interesting if somewhere along the way Valentin and Brook Lynn realized they’d fallen for each other. Whatever the case, General Hospital spoilers say Valentin has a few options for the future. Of course, you might even have a different woman in mind for Valentin.
