General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Briana Lane) needs a new direction. As GH viewers know, Brook Lynn suffered a terrible loss when Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier) slashed her throat backstage at the Nurses’ Ball Telethon.
Now it’s up in the air as to whether Brook Lynn will ever be able to sing again, and that situation led Brook Lynn to try to pull a fast one by switching out Amy Driscoll’s (Risa Dorken) voice for hers.
Brook Lynn’s lip-syncing ploy was a total bust, and it embarrassed Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) terribly, losing Deception a critical deal with a buyer.
Now Brook Lynn has no job and no prospects for the future, since the Deception singing gig was her last real bastion of hope. And since Brook Lynn is furious with Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth), she refuses to turn tail and run back to the Quartermaine mansion and her dad for refuge.
So, what’s in store for Brook Lynn now? Well, General Hospital spoilers indicate that Brook Lynn’s newfound affiliation with Valentin might lead to some great things in her future.
Right now, it’s up in the air as to whether Brook Lynn and Valentin’s fling was a one-time thing or will continue, but they certainly have discovered a newfound respect for each other.
Would Valentin consider putting Brook Lynn in some sort of position at ELQ, now that he runs the company? We all know how Brook Lynn’s last stint at ELQ turned out.
GH viewers will remember that Brook Lynn ended up sharing some crucial company secrets on social media, which Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) noticed and broke as front-page news. It was a pretty bad mistake, but Valentin might not care at this point!
In fact, Valentin might feel like Brook Lynn deserves a good opportunity, given everything that she’s been through. And let’s face it, Valentin would probably enjoy the effect that the whole thing would have on Ned.
Ned would surely be furious – not only that Valentin and Brook Lynn slept together, but that the enemy is helping Brook Lynn to get back on her feet.
One thing’s for sure, and that’s that Ned is going to be horrified to know that Brook Lynn is affiliated in any way with Valentin.
And if Valentin ends up giving Brook Lynn some independence while also giving her a way to distinguish herself at her family company without actually working for Ned, then there’s probably no way that Ned and Brook Lynn are going to get back on speaking terms anytime soon.
