General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) may once again take drastic action to get what he wants. GH viewers know that when Cyrus has a goal, he relentlessly pursues it. Just look at how hard Cyrus is working to make Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) part of his team!
Of course, Brando actually wants to be pursued since he plans to work for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) while working for Cyrus. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton), on the other hand, wants nothing to do with Port Charles’ newest villain.
Finn was clearly both unnerved and annoyed when Cyrus barged in for a little chat at GH.
Cyrus was quick to bring up Finn’s history of addiction and hinted about looking forward to a collaborative relationship. As Cyrus expands his empire, he may be hoping Finn can develop some special drug formulas and make his business even more profitable.
Regardless of exactly what Cyrus wants, he indeed wants something. That’s a huge deal since Finn has a daughter to protect.
Finn may not be all that worried for himself or even superspy Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), who can usually handle the baddies. It’s Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) who’s the real concern here.
Violet is Finn’s weak spot, so she’s the obvious target if Finn decides he’s unwilling to cooperate. Cyrus probably wouldn’t hesitate to kidnap Violet and hold her hostage until Finn carried out orders.
Cyrus might warn that Finn will never see Violet again if he doesn’t keep his end of a bargain he’s forced into.
General Hospital fans will recall that Finn once viewed Peter August (Wes Ramsey) as a serious threat, but at least Peter adores kids. Although Peter has a dark side, it’s hard to imagine him ever intentionally harming an innocent child. Cyrus, however, seems like he’d have no problem going that far.
Violet could be in deadly danger if Cyrus winds up on his radar – and she may already be there. Finn seems to think he can just dismiss pushy Cyrus, but he’ll probably learn that Cyrus isn’t a man who’s easily ignored!
