General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Wednesday, August 26, tease that that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will visit Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Briana Lane) in her room at GH. Brook Lynn just woke up, but she may not be able to talk due to the severity of her throat injuries.
Even so, Sonny’s determined to speak with Brook Lynn and get confirmation that Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier) was the one who did this to her.
Of course, Brook Lynn could always nod or write “yes” on a piece of paper. There are certainly ways for Brook Lynn to offer information. General Hospital spoilers say Sonny will get the conformation he’s looking for, so Brook Lynn should come through for him somehow.
Meanwhile, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will grill the jogger Nelle just encountered. That woman didn’t realize the cops were looking for Nelle and Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson) until he was too late.
Nevertheless, Chase will ask the jogger some questions and try to get another lead. Detective Chase will wonder if Nelle said anything about where she was going.
This woman should relay the directions she gave Nelle. She made it clear that if Nelle missed Oxcidental, she should turn around – or else Nelle could be driving for hours. Nelle’s clearly struggling to navigate, so that could give Chase a big advantage as he works to catch up with her.
Back in Port Charles, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will thank someone for coming. It looks like that someone will be Epiphany Johnson (Sonya Eddy), who helped Marcus Taggert (Real Andrews) fake his death.
Taggert needs medical attention, but he can’t risk being seen out in the open – especially not at GH, where Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) is now the chairman of the board.
That’s where Epiphany comes in. Wednesday’s GH preview video shows an irate Epiphany asking, “What the hell is goin’ on?!” Taggert may offer an explanation for the chaos down on the pier, but Jason may think the important thing is Taggert needs help – and Epiphany is the only one who can help him right now.
Over with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen), they’ll be joined by Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) at the Quartermaine mansion. Sasha will admit that she never in a million years thought this could happen.
She’ll express genuine concern for Wiley, but things may be a bit tense due to the cheating Willow thinks happened between Sasha and Chase.
As for Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), he’ll worry about what Nelle might do if Wiley becomes a burden to her. Michael will truly fear for his son’s life, but Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will do her best to calm him down.
Out on that dark road, Nelle will keep speeding along as she talks to Wiley in the backseat. “The sacrifices I make for you,” Nelle says to the tot in Wednesday’s preview. We’ll pass along updates as other GH news rolls in.
